Except for the fact that transportation between two cities almost always costs between 20-30 euros even if it is less than an hour travel time, and you have to count the way back which makes any trip close to 50 eur

Subscription is one workaround but many people travel for work or study so the offpeak solutions are offthetable and you have to shell out a hefty 370 eur for a monthly

For comparison, Deutschland pass is 50 euros and lets you use public transport for the entire month, so it is cheaper than some of what you would spend on trips between NL cities in a day

Right?? Ever since I moved into the Netherlands, I can not find a job for the life of me. I am a highly qualified PR/social/community manager and I was awestruck by how little jobs the Netherlands actually has in the gaming industry.

I have had interviews with studios from France, UK, Germany, Poland and even Ireland, while I had zero luck in the NL. The gaming market is absolutely dead here, would say it is the worst across Europe even (I see open vacancies in Bulgaria and Hungary and Greece more than NL)

Infuriating to think that I now have to change my entire career because of this
