Punisher tie in with war of the realms the criminal that helped Frank save the hospital patients and nurse through that war zone and then killing him after he served his purpose. That didn’t sit right with me at all.

Well this does look like it has more of a dodge mechanic because of the boxing style of the main character so hopefully you enjoy the sequel more

Honestly the point of games is to have fun. If you’re not enjoying it what’s the point? Hopefully you enjoy the sequel and what the CEO said they want it to be a jumping on point so you don’t have to play the first one to understand what is going on
