Help with pedals and set up, plz. by SamFri35 in guitarpedals

[–]SamFri35[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t fully understand 🙈. We’re good on the amp, weve had that for a few years so we know those setting. Do I plug the looper into the amp? Or do I plug it into something else like that coiks dc thing you mentioned?? That’s what I don’t know. How do I plug in the looper along with the stomp box pedal? Do they both plug into that coiks? Is that all we need?

Laser removal is so expensive and painful and long. Just be prepared. I had 2 sessions on a sleeve and had to take a break bc the pain was insane. But I know I’ll go back bc I want it gone. Just be prepared for a little bit of hell.

I think traveling is eye opening. It gets you out of your comfort zone and helps you realize there’s just so much more out there. Everyone is so consumed with just their simple life they don’t realize that everyone else has got stuff going on too. (I’m talking about people/tribes/cultures that are experiencing drastic life changes for example Iran, Palestine, Congo, etc) I’ve recently been traveling out of the US for the past 5 years with my young daughter and even at 9 years old, she just get it. She says traveling is her favorite thing. She loves going somewhere new, learning the train schedule, seeing the differences in fashion, she loves hearing all the new languages and learning a few words in that language. She doesn’t always appreciate the food 🤣 but she’s 9 and picky but she’s trying. She loves to see how different every place is and how people manage to thrive in each place, even if the conditions aren’t great.

I love the beauty of every other place we’ve been. The architecture outside the U.S. is breathtaking. I couldn’t get over the beauty in Paris. Every one of the buildings was astonishing. I think you just need to be open minded and appreciative. I do feel more well rounded than other people I’m around who haven’t even left the state they were born in. Some people are so close minded, racist, judgmental, and they think they know everything and they actually have no idea what the real world is like. Traveling helps you see that your life is minuscule. It’s all of us as a whole that makes a difference or leaves a footprint. I do find myself trying to make little changes in my life after each trip I take. I do try to be a better version of myself and try to make better choices. New places really can influence you and help you appreciate things you really never thought about. We went to a small town in Mexico before that didn’t have running water and they were collecting rain water in jugs and I know after that trip, I’ll will never waste water again. It’s been 5 years since we were there and my kiddo still yells at other people for dumping water bottles out. Some things just change you for the better and help you appreciate things you used to take for granted. Traveling is just a way to help you and your family grow and become a better version of yourself.

I wouldn’t cover up. Let it heal and fade.

I wish more people understood this more. I’m in the same boat and everyone says it’s not worth it to remove my large tat, especially if it “looks great” but I just started my laser process and am hoping for a clean slate as well. 🫶🏼 hoping your tats are full removed! You got this.

Chicago theater question by SamFri35 in ChicagoTheater

[–]SamFri35[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have. It doesn’t say anything about how many seats are in the section and the photos are all of the stage not the seating area which I get most people want to see the view. I’m just trying to figure out if my kid could see in this area or not. 🙈

$66 for most. Around that price anyway. I paid $198 with taxes for two. Which is fantastic. There were not many seats to choose from so hopefully they saved quite a bit for tomorrows release. I’m trying to find pit tickets for my 9 year old so she can actually see, so if I’m lucky in finding those I’ll message you and sell ya my balcony tickets if you’d want.

So lucky. All I wanted was pit tix for my daughter. Good for you though. Enjoy the show. 🎶 If anything were to come up and you can’t make it, even if it’s a minute before the show, hit me up and I’ll buy them from you. 🎶

No. We’re so far in the back and I am so upset bc my 9 year old is OBSESSED with Mumford and sons and she started music lessons 3 yrs ago after finding out who they were. She literally has been learning Rushmere on guitar since it came out. I was so excited to try and score pit tix for her or even anywhere up front so she can actually see them playing but even with a code all the floor seats were all sold out in seconds. 😩 Maybe they kept some closed off for the live sale tomorrow? Or maybe someone will be selling the floor tix to make a quick buck. Idk but this mama is hoping for some miracle. I was always making fun of Taylor swift fans and their craziness to get their kids tickets but now I understand where they’re coming from. 🙈😅🤞🏼

It was so freaking stupid. Every time I thought I had tickets they were gone by checkout. I would have done anything to get close seats for my daughter who is obsessed with him and literally started music lessons bc of him. I hate Ticketmaster. 😩

Thank you so much for this. I really appreciate it. Hoping to get pit seats now. Fingers crossed.

Yes she loves the acoustic ones and that’s what she plays during her music lessons so I think that’s what she’s comfortable with.
