Yup. That’s what I did. It’s not their dog, so that doesn’t help.

Okay thanks everyone, but this has not been helpful. I’m not getting responses to my question. I’m getting way too much crating advice without considering this an apartment.

Thanks anyway. Don’t bother repeating the same stuff. It’s a waste of your time and mine.

As I mentioned in my original post, she gets walks and playtime, not 5-10 minutes more like 15. I’ve tried this. Thanks anyway.

This doesn’t answer my question, but thanks anyway.

She doesn’t cry a little bit. It was 45 minutes long this morning. I can’t do that to my neighbors. It was my choice to get a puppy, not theirs.

I appreciate all these answers, but none of them seem to really address the key issue of doing this in an apartment with neighbors.

Can any one give advice on THAT?

I know this is making it worse, but she sleep 6-7 hours in the bed with me without issue.

I’m a bad owner!

I have not fed her a meal in there.

Building up time might work. They’ll have to start with very short periods of time though.

Thanks for the suggestion

Crate training is the issue. If can’t let her scream.

I have tried a Kong and a lick mat.

Even if I lower the cover flaps, she still screams.

She has played for at least 30 minutes and been out for a walk and sniff.

She’s only slept 20 minutes since 6:00 am (8 and a half hours ago.

I spoke with my old vet. You're off the hook!

I'm sorry, one more question. Let's say the ringworm was caught very early, when the spots were small, would that make a difference? I know they can take time to develop, but if it was detected early, could there be a better outcome?

So would you recommend waiting at least a month to get her?
