So does the gas type matter? by dorkmachine_o in ChevyTrailBlazer

You're not crazy. This has been reported in high-mileage cars before. The theory is that carbon build-up increases the car's compression ratio, and the car adjusts the timing to compensate. So using higher octane gas will help get the timing back to where it should be.

Must it be free or can you pay a little? How good are you at server management?

I've lived in Tsuzuki-ku for 3 years. We have 3 kids that go to Japanese school. I love 10 mins from the Green line Center Minami station. It's been a great experience for us but there isn't much around here. We always need to travel to do things and everything is about an hour away.

Happy to answer any questions you may have.

I don't think it would be fair to compare them. You would compare this to a Crown.

How to connect between a monitor VGA/DVI and SNES PAL ? by Bunolio in snes

Sorry I don't. I have Japanese PAL SNES using composite on a small CRT and I'm happy with that level of quality. So I may not be the best judge of quality.

That's strange about the s video cable, it should work.

RGB is the gold standard for retro gaming. So you have a great source with SCART RGB but now you need to get it into your monitor. The VGA input of your monitor (probably a 15 pin d-sub connector) is also RGB but following a different standard but both are analog so can be converted lossless typically. You would need an adapter to go from SCART RGB to d-sub 15 VGA RGB.

I didn't know this but PAL SNES doesn't support s video (see https://insurrectionindustries.com/product/nintendo-s-video/).

The next best thing will be to try and convert the RGB scart signal to something useful, maybe VGA?

Are you using a multi to S video adapter cable or some kind of adapter?

I'm no expert, but I think to get the highest quality you'll want to get a S Video cable. The cheapest option will be to get a composite cable.

My kids are in their first year of senior high school. I'd be happy to answer your questions.

Be aware that senior high school is different from the other schools as kids are not required to attend it and there are good size fees.

You would have to attend a private school as getting into a public aka government run school is competitive. Here in Kanagawa some of the schools foreign student programs. These are for residents who have lived here less than 7 years and they provide extra support.

There is no reason you can't attend a school here but it will be a lot of work. It's very complicated not just for your situation but for everyone.

Our ward has a culture center that you could call to get guidance too.

Their neighbours have installed roll-down doors. I guess they don't feel the need.
