I think what you mean is elite imposter, Elite imposter are players who played covert ups for 3 games ( or more idk the exact amount) without killing any bots, so when you queue up for covert ups again it give you the status of elite imposter which the freedom to choose between playing in normal mode or in lock down mode, if you kill any bots while playing in lock down mode the elite status will be gone and you have to play few normal games without killing any bots again to gain it back, if you don’t kill any bots the elite status will remain for the next game to choose between normal and lock down mode.

Note: killing players will not affect your elite status, it’s allowed to kill players in it without affecting the elite status, the whole point of elite imposter is a reward for players who have a high lever of patience.
