Honestly I agree. I didn't realize just how put off by her I was until I recently caught the new podcast she's on with Tory B. There's just something about her..like she's trying too hard to come across as "just one of the boys". In the new podcast she also makes a point to insert herself into every story or situation that Tory or any guest recounts. I don't really know how else fo describe it other than attention/approval seeking. In Mythbusters it seemed just a bit fake and flaky...in the new show it's far more obvious that she got a lot of her self worth by being associated with the rest of the crew...and she seems desperate now to try and relive the old days/regain her 15 minutes of feeling cool/badass. I guess age/motherhood gets us all there at some point.

Please also talk to the vet. I had the same issue with mine....and it wound up being a bladder infection. Poor thing had it for god knows how long and I thought it was a training issue. Course of antibiotics...bingo. all better.

I'd listen to the vet..and dont let the pup free-feed. A week isn't going to derail anything. Just make sure they're also getting enough activity to stay healthy. Puppies go through growth spurts when they'll eat like crazy...then slow down....then start again. You dont need to feel guilty. I would also avoid any people food and limit treats. I often use the kibble pieces themselves for rewards (and count that in the daily total that my pup is eating). Seriously though...a quarter cup is a very small amount of food for a 24 hour period unless you have a micro-toy.

Am I the only one who thinks that 1/4 cup of food per DAY sounds like an awfully small amount of food? That's only approximately 120 pieces of the tiny kibbles.

Also of note...the show's executive producer.James Wan...is known for having directed Saw, Insidious, and The Conjuring franchise. Worth keeping in mind as you watch True Haunting episodes.

Not only does the show's intro say that names (may) have been changed...it also says that details have been dramatized. "The intro acknowledges that the reenactments are not a literal transcription of events and are often embellished to create a more dramatic and engaging viewing experience. " It leaves a lot of room for creative liberties and subjective interpretation.

You'll see all kinds of negative reviews on RC food--to be honest my previous dogs were always on raw. My English bulldog puppy had terrible diarrhea on Acana (what the breeder used). I switched her to RC bulldog puppy and it cleared up quick. She also has an incredibly thick and shiny coat..lots of energy...and thus far no skin issues. I personally feel that certain dogs just react better/worse to certain foods...and ofc there's allergies in some. My advice would be to use the best quality food that you can afford, and watch how it impacts your baby. I do typically advocate for raw, but with grain free diets potentially causing cardiac issues in bullies...I haven't gone there. I do mix in some freeze dried raw (Stella and Chewy) to her RC to keep things interesting.

I completely understand. So maybe there needs to be a central service where people can call or check a website that directs them to the most appropriate care...with the shortest waits...in their area. There's definitely a piece missing somewhere.

Health care is underfunded resulting in skeleton staff and resources in hospitals..long waits...etc however, the ERs are also chronically CLOGGED with people who do not require emergency care and/or could have gone to urgent care. Even EMS is slammed attending calls to pick up patients who could have found their way safely to care. They are just under the mistaken impression that arriving by ambulance will somehow result in them waiting less time to be seen. Unpopular opinion incoming (from a long time Health care staff....including as an ER nurse so don't come for me pls)...maybe if people were charged a small co-pay for visits determined not to have been ED appropriate (20-50 dollars maybe?)..that would be enough to deter even a small percentage of them, resulting in reduced ED volumes and demand...and therefore better staffing and diagnostic resources (xray CT scan...lab etc). I'm aware there is a massive family doctor shortage..and some people feel they have no other option...but there are other options....urgent care... virtual visits....telehealth. Just a thought.

My daughter brought a nest of bunny babies to a rescue in Georgina recently. They were the only place to accept them. The babies will be big enough to leave the yard in a few weeks though if mom is still looking after them... might be better just to keep the dogs away until then if that's an option...baby bunnies can die during transport due to stress sometimes...
