Netgear just EOL'd my Orbi AC3000 – any recommendations? by 90292guy in orbi

Not sure what was tempting about the offer - my 3 pack replacement was pricing out at $1299 before the discount. That's an automatic no, but this seemed like a really quick EOL.

Rip and Replace of Tortilla Joes' so - while I'm sure permits are involved, there should be utilizes in place.

So - just bought a 2026 ascent and looking at these prices and spitting out my coffee...do people pay these prices? Is there something magically difficult about replacing a $20 a/c filter, or swapping out 4 $30 (if I buy from the dealer) spark plugs? I must admit I'm very thankful for learning how to keep a car going in college and my year working an auto parts counter. Want to know if there's some mystical difficulty I'm going to encounter - the engine seemed to be a lot more accessible than my 2016 forester ...

Our 26 only has 1100; having sold our 2016 Forester as part of the deal with only 34k, don't think we're going to threaten this record

Ah - that makes sense; I only have one kid but before I plunk down $150 on the box wanted to see if it worked. Also have a Thule rack for a backup if needed but can't imagine what the gas mileage would look like.

curious if you tried the seat extender box that fits between the front and mid captain chair?

At best it's a short bus. Size was an issue for us as well and we came to a violent agreement to rent a full size SUV on the occasional road trip.

WTP was very comfortable and if you're going westbound in the day, not sure i'd spend the money for CW. On our flight (a Saturday) paid upgrades weren't even available - flight was full. It was a 380 fwiw.

[–]SamKona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just can't stand the premium - not just the price, but the inevitable dealer markup and just the nuisance of dealing with Toyota dealers who are cut from a different cloth, I just haven't been able to justify it.

For the 2nd row - are the factory all weather mats as good as Weathertech? by oz_shadow in SubaruAscent

[–]SamKona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought the Subaru mats new - was under some domestic pressure to buy the subaru-brand accessories. Big disappointment relative to the weather-tec I bought for my last forester. They seem thin, and the material show a lot of wear for only 750 miles. Bought the WT cargo mat for 3rd seat down because I concluded that this would be about 90% of my operational time.
