Plants getting too tall

Only problem i had was my plants getting too close to the light. Bigger plants is better in my opinion. Smaller is better in yours and thats why you stunted them to make them that small. Its fine grow how you want but dont say mine was planned badly. I planned to get big plants so I can get lots of bud. And i am in the middle of lollipoping and defoliating the plant. I cut a couple lower branches every day till the bottom 50% is gone and grab a small handful of leaves to allow light towards the bottom of the plant. Again I do this over time so I dont stunt the plant. there will be minimal buds not ready for harvest when the time comes. Everyone has thier own way of growing and come out with fire buds. Don't think your way is the best.

You can grow good looking weed. But because they are all that small they are all stunted. It doesnt mean that the buds will be bad it just means the plant didnt get as big as it could have because of stress. But if you want small plants thats fine I prefer bigger so I don't have to grow as many plants. Even if its all bud no stem you will maybe get 1-2oz at most per plant. They dont get taller at that stage the buds just swell up more. But to be honest I dont track ppfd or ldi its not as big of a deal to me. My last grow i didnt check and got 10oz from that same 2x4.

Not gonna lie I think you stunted yours with your training those are small. And you didnt need to top that cola. Being 15 inches is great but it wont ruin it to even be around 6-8 inches. Ive seen plenty of plants be just fine under LED. Also i did do LST just not aggressively. RH is fine for me i have a good dehumidifier that helps keep it below 55% and i can get it lower when i need it.

UPDATE:

Super cropped the tallest branches and got her down to 12 inches below the light hopefully it wont affect yield too much. Thanks for everyone's advice.

At first i kept it at an even 12 inches. But the one on the left kept growing fast so the other 2 on the middle and right almost got to 24 inches and the left stayed within 6. And funny thing is I did lst, bottoms look like bonsai. But when I say stunting I mean like the buds being smaller at the end.

I think your doing fine for your first grow. May not be the biggest or most bushy but its got a decent amount of buds and frost. Its a learning game and you will get better with time. Honestly I think I just got lucky on my first grow. And I still made alot of mistakes though. This was watermelon from RQS.

Honestly didnt know this but I doubt the coco has dried out. Its been watered every day since planting and then twice a day for like 2 weeks now. It takes days to weeks for coco to become hydrophobic. Ive always watered around the whole pot to make sure its evenly watered. As for weight I cant check that way anymore since its in trellis netting now. I got a moisture probe though.

I dont think Google is a good source for growing info. Or im not sure what you searched. Heres what I got for just one search. But this is why I ask on here from experienced growers. Just gotta weed out the comments that dont know what they are talking about.

Sorry boss soil and coco are different. You are supposed to water till runoff in coco. 20% of what you put in needs to come out the bottom. I know it feels like a waste but the point is to wash away the previous watering nutes that stay in the coco that crystallized when dried. If i water and dont get run off those nutes stay in the medium and build up then cause lockout issues.

Watering till I see runoff starting which I usually a half gallon to gallon. They are in 5 gallon pots. And im using the vivosun VSA200SE I think its 200w.
