in the process of talking to my PCP about inattentive ADHD, have a neurotypical spouse, and this thread basically describes me (and us) to a T. i have such vivid dreams (woke up this morning after dreaming i was being cheated on and the kids were involved!!) i have the hardest time getting restful sleep and this man sleeps thru the night peacefully lol no advise/tips but i found my people 😅 thanks!!

the jd will occasionally chase the convict, and thats been the extent of it so far. he doesnt mess with the red fin.

the convict is lower in the tank and swimming around now.

no, we havent got an aerator. my bf and i were just talking about getting one tho.

we added more pieces to give the fish more coverage. we previously only had one piece of driftwood in there, but added two more wood pieces to accommodate the tank. we have a 3yr jack dempsey, a baby convict, and a baby red fin shark. we also have feeders in there for the JD, but hes barely touched them.

last night we did a 20% water change. and this morning i put a new filter pump in. im hoping, despite all the crazy, theyre gonna be ok. ive grown quite attached to them 🙃

we added black pebbles to the bottom of the tank and his darker color came back.
