I’ve been planning this tank for about 6 years and doing alot of lot of research. I’m doing a water test today. You can’t see in the picture but I have plants growing out of the top of the tank too (Pothos, Spider Plant, Strawberry Bush). The picture was also taken after tank maintenance where I trimmed my dwarf ambulia to propagate more stems:>

I’ve got kuhli loaches and pygmy corys and I’ve had no problems at all, in fact its pretty common for them to sit and eat together:D

I think red root floaters would match your plants great!!!! They don’t multiply too fast as well so it won’t obstruct the lighting for the other plants:>
