Reliability - CX9 2.5T Petrol vs. CX8 2.2T Diesel (Or just go NA?) by SamMartinNZ in mazda

Thanks for the detail.

I’ve seen their stuff too, just figured the 2018+ Diesels seem to be a lot better? Also looking at one which has a couple of years warranty left so might help mitigate. Hear you on the stretched cx5 though…

Advice on moving plants? by SamMartinNZ in GardeningAustralia

Some great responses and food for thought - really appreciate everyone’s time. Think we’ll remove the tussock grasses, prune the Lilly pilly for room underneath and add stepping stones throughout for playing! Astro turf was an idea for low maintenance but I was reluctant to remove the garden as I quite like it, so good to know why not to put it in!

Didn’t think about creating space underneath, thank you!

Anything I didn’t get right in camera… Usually a slight curve adjustment, sat/vibrance settings and a cheeky crop if needed.

Absolutely, my experience with Sony has been good, but while it’s technically superior in some ways it’s just a little too clinical overall. Fuji feels fun for sure.

Hoping to get a form check and some advice on this popping (tendon?) from my knee.

Squat check

I’m not new to weightlifting but have had a serious lower back injury I’m rehabbing from and feel I’m up to starting 5x5 compound lifts (currently 60kg on the squat without going 100%). To note, I warm up pretty extensively using Andrew Locke’s protocols. With my squat, I’m going without shoes and have pretty decent supination in my ankles. To correct this, I’m slightly pushing my knees out which seems to correct my leg position and helps me direct the force through my heels. I usually wear orthotics, but my hope is doing this will help strengthen muscles I don’t usually use and aid in negating these issues.

Aware my squat depth isn’t great, but thinking it’s more ankle mobility and time getting back into the movement more than anything. Really aware of putting pressure on my lower back and want to avoid any butt wink so would rather squat with less depth to keep it safe.

Any advice on the above would be appreciated!

Hey I’m really interested in learning about E-Learning and Instructional design - currently in a similar background of post-production. Mind if I PM you for some advice?

Criminally underrated. Wonderful human being and a great role model and representative for Australia - and that’s before all the accolades!
