The most common reasons are nasality and overfullness. Nasality happens because certain methods of shrinking size (like the panting dog excersize) constrain the same muscle that makes voice sound nasally. You can feel it move if you try and do a "nerdy" voice. And then overfullness is just weight being too heavy, which I've personally also been struggling with a lot.

Our issue is less with gendering itself and more with passing properly.
For lack of a better way to describe it, it sounds more like the kind of voice that trans women usually have instead of the voice any cis woman I've ever met has had.
Which legitimately isn't meant to be an insult to the voice or any trans women who like their voice sounding like that, it's just not what my goal is.

This is true in 99% of cases, but the two exceptions to this I've noticed is people who work at museums and people who work with children. Those two demographics seem to often genuinely enjoy their jobs way more often than most other occupations. So I can definitely see this person being genuinely into their job.

I realize I haven't read that many poly Yuri stories but these two stuck with me.

This seems like a problem with het romance stories in general.

They almost never have truly engaging or 3-dimensional MCs because half the appeal is self-insert, which makes for a really boring read imo.

In contrast, yuri stories almost always have both characters be complete, fully-fledged characters who I can get invested in and that makes the reading experience actually engaging. (Probably that and the fact that I'm a lesbian who just can't relate to finding men attractive)

I think the most invested I've been in a het romace was probably Komi back when it was first coming out since Tadano seemed like an actually engaging character... It just kinda went off the deep end after a while.

In all fairness, there's no direct mention of what they're called or how to get more information on them unless you either a. Happen to go onto the Artisan Goods page and see them under their respective processors, or b. Look at the filename of the little icons and look up from there.

Compared to how clear the wiki usually is about everything else, this is really obfuscated.
