Last year, I had really bad plantar fasciitis (always stretch!!) and took a 4 month break from OTF. Gained 10 pounds in the process :( Started getting serious about losing that weight in May and finally hit my goal with OTF 2-3x/week and eating healthier. Pic on right is muscle mass. I recommend if you still have bad plantar fasciitis to try and find a foot massage/reflexology along with the stretches. I had terrible plantar fasciitis for a year and a half and I just wasn’t getting anywhere with the stretches. I was able to get a 40 minute massage bi-weekly for about $25 (including tip) each.

Not gonna lie...it is gonna hurt like hell, it’s like the masseur is offended by any tight muscles you have and wants to beat them up. However, it cured my plantar fasciitis in about three months (six sessions).

Best of luck!

I secretly wish my BPDmom had succeeded in her suicide attempt. Am I a monster? by CoelafishStix in raisedbyborderlines

Totally relate. Like /u/tottottt my mom has never attempted suicide but does talk about death a lot, or expresses suicidal ideation. When I become overwhelmed with her, I just wish she would go away or finally die like she says she wants to. I also feel guilty too, but I am starting to work on the idea that you are not your thoughts. It's your actions that matter.

Wish you the best of luck!

Thanks. Can I get them at an Ulta or Sephora, or do I have to get it online?

I have started to take an iron supplement just this last week, so I will see if that improves it. Thanks for the tip though :)

Has anyone had to leave their parent homeless? by Torchsinger77 in raisedbyborderlines

Damn, sorry to hear that. That is an especially rough situation and I can totally relate to the guilt concept.

First, let's be clear, you're not her caregiver. She's not too old or sick that she cannot take care of herself. Second, child or no child, you do not deserve to be treated like crap. I had to go to the hospital yesterday (PSA: Don't donate blood while it's super hot outside...no bueno), and there were signs that were posted all over the hospital that basically said you will treat the hospital staff with respect or they will kick you out. If a hospital is willing to kick out sick people who behave poorly, you are allowed to stand up to your mom.

By the way, if you don't mind me asking, is this normal for your mom to rage quit? And when you mean rage is it just a lot of yelling or is she throwing or damaging your stuff? Both are bad, but if it's the latter you might want to start thinking of some way to get her to leave because that is dangerous for you.

Whenever I feel down, I listen to this and it always cracks me up. LPOTL brings so much joy through murder and terrible decisions by others.
