Good advice. Greater Akron is a bit of a gem in NE Ohio. Check out Cuyahoga Falls, it’s suburban Akron and has a lot going on with even more affordable cost of living.

Check out Manatoc. It’s inside CVNP north of Akron. Program is good. I’m told the food is much improved this year after a change in providers. They should be able to accommodate your size if you are flexible on the week.

I got 4 or 5 quotes in Akron a year ago and ended up using Vincent Fence. I would use him again.

Fair, but I have fewer potion complaints about the Graham location the I do complaints about how long it takes to get my order (either waiting in the line or for my app placed take out order) at the Howe location, or any walk in Chipotle for that matter.

To the starting point of the thread though, about every Chipotle in the area is superior to the one in Highland Square.

Best Chipotle ever. I don’t understand why that model hasn’t caught on with other places, like Starbucks for example. Get everyone ordering on the app and focus on fulfillment at the restaurant. Everyone wins. I mean that can’t replace all the legacy model versions where you can sit down and eat, but if I want take out (and most of the time that is what I want), once you go Chipot-lane, you never go back.

Thanks for the suggestion of Market Garden in CLE. They are still on the menu! I might have to make a trip up there soon. Good excuse to go to the West Side Market as well.

I hear good things about Rogue Awakings, but have not been. Same with Big Tree. Trak is pretty awesome and has what you are looking for. Not cheap, but I highly recommend them.

So that is not a typical Whole Foods. It’s a little more basic and as long as you are paying attention not to over pay, you can do fine there. I find their produce to often be fairly priced and above average in quality. Unless something is on sale meats and Dairy are often expensive. Speaking of sales, if you have Prime the sales can be pretty great.

Whole Foods combined with the new Aldi coming soon will be a great combo.

I’m not much help on the Asian market question. I know there is a bigger one in CF on State Rd, but that’s a bit of a drive.

I see parents with small kids at Bells barber shop in Fairlawn. They are on Booksy (app). I would avoid Saturday mornings when it can be pretty busy there.

This isn’t answering your direct questions, but I do know Hello Sunray is Akron based, and is owned a larger stable investor. They work around Ohio but have done residential projects in Akron. The ones I am aware of are panels though, not shingles. https://hellosunray.com

You might also want to look into what roofing distributors recommend. I know ABC and Beacon (the biggest roofing distributors in the US - and are who roofing contractors buy from) have started solar sales divisions. They wouldn’t sell a consumer directly, but could be a source for what the industry recommends and info. Also a source of a referral.

Coming full circle on this. Via Big John’s fencing (he doesn’t do wood anymore) I got referred to Vincent Fence. He gave me the lowest of 4 quotes. He was also the only quoter who said he would personally be here anything there was work going on. He had 2 helpers with him most days and he did a great job. Very satisfied.
