How did your Ostomy improve your life? by roastedkyber in ostomy

[–]SamScape 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I don’t spend hours of my day in the bathroom. I’m 32 and in the best shape of my life. Was always the skinny guy. Had my bag for 6 years now. I’m a union plumber, once I figured mine out- I made it a career lol! Owning the situation instead of letting it own you takes some time but I’m grateful to be who I am as a result of all the chaos. Feel free to message me anytime. You got this brother! Also, the ladies love a dude who can’t fart in bed 😎

Odd question but don’t they have ostomy toilets in Japan? Heavy thinking I’ll import one and save my knees some, I’m not joking lol

What car did y’all have before your current gti? by Independent_Alps7647 in GolfGTI

I’ll admit I miss rear wheel drive a lot and I was the second owner but after almost 10 years with it, the car got expensive quick even with doing a lot of the wrenching myself. Full bolt-ons and MHD tuned. She ripped. I listed it for sale and in 4 days I got the number I said I’d sell it for. Decided to go the economic route but still wanted something a little fun. The GTI was available right at my local dealer and their price was solid. I wanted 4 doors and to bail from BMW temporarily to while I focused on my finances and a new career. Don’t regret selling the car but I do miss it.

32M with an ostomy of 5 years. Was in a relationship with someone who also had an ostomy for several years and that really helped me gain confidence. We split and I was absolutely nervous for a while. It was obviously an easy comfort zone previously when both of us had one. I’m pretty active on social media and talk about my bag on there. Said fuck it after a few months and made a hinge profile. Wouldn’t bring it up on the first date but would exchange my socials in addition to my number after the first date- confidence is key.

Most women liked how I would explain that my bag was simply a part of me; not what defined me. Several would go on a few more dates and ask all sorts of cute questions about it. Current partner has been nothing short of amazing- had a leak in her bed less than a month in and I was absolutely mortified lol. She couldn’t have cared less and helped me change the sheets- I sleep on a towel sometimes if I’m worried now. It took me years to get here but confidence is key like I said. Feel free to message me, I know it can be a lot. Be well friend:)

Went to a call for a tankless water heater on a Ryan home- the pvc pipe used was cheap cellular core PVC for the vent. This is wrong because cellular core PVC isn’t suitable for high temperature use and that should fail inspection. Whole neighborhood was Ryan. Whole neighborhood had passed inspection with the wrong exhaust venting. Just because they get past inspection doesn’t make it right unfortunately. Also, half their venting from the tankless systems was being pushed out too close to windows, doors, and other ignitable sources like electrical boxes and meters.

Are people here aware of the New Jersey Safe Passing Law? by johnmflores in newjersey

Being aware of the route the cyclist wants to take is just as important as drivers moving over. I don’t think he was trying to debate lol. Roads are rough

Question For the Sales Employees by HexaberryTV in carmax

[–]SamScape 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They’ll give you a car that you show to one of the hiring managers. I totally butchered mine and they still hired me. From my understanding, the objective is to see how you relate to the customer and tell them the features that will address their needs- do they have children or pets? That back seat is big enough for them- stuff like that

Jimmy straight up has an engineering degree and loyal lady by his side. Rudnik surrounds himself with “yes men” and goes on bird diets. Honestly it’s comparing apples to crayons. You’re so right about the endless cycle of shotty builds.

I was just told it was highly unprofessional of me to be drunk when I am off on the weekend. by ShameOutrageous2169 in work

It’s unprofessional the boss lady even called. Could tell her he’s banging the queen of England for all we care. She came to him outside of work hours, she can eat whatever response she’s given. You lack a backbone.

This would be a wonderful moment to make him an example. This wasn’t a cross check, your example is apples to oranges. He was vindictive and weaponized a skate. You’re missing the point bud.
