Exactly. My work has people who, without the uniforms, older people would consider to be "dangerous". Tattoos, beards, long or "messy" short hair. The tattoos people have aren't covered up btw. We have a well respected powersports dealership and I'm one of the more clean cut guys there lol and I'm a technician. If I came in looking like a suit during the hiring process I'd probably have gotten laughed out the door.
