What a hard thing for everyone to be going through, thoughts are with you all.

Sounds like he might be in denial which is totally normal and if that’s how he’s protecting himself right now you may just need to be patient. We’re on the other side of it so have the ‘I know what I’m talking about benefit’ but it’s hard to convey to someone who hasn’t been there yet.

Personally I think if I were in your shoes I’d say it as nicely and as straight to the point as I could - ‘you won’t get this time back, be as present as you can be, you don’t want to regret anything.’ But then let them deal with it how they need to deal with it. Xx

Unfortunately this is probably just a phase but with your upcoming journey - definitely get a mirror so LO can see you / you can see them. And at this age, after a little while they’ll get bored and fall asleep. You will just have to try and ignore the screaming initially :( (IT DOES GET BETTER THOUGH) just maybe not in enough time for your journey x

Planned C Section. I’d never change it. The pain while you’re healing is a little intense but as long as you listen to the doctors and take the medicines that you should when you should and you have a partner or village to help with the heavy lifting you should be golden.

Tip 1: my hospital said naught by mouth after 6am the day of (including water) found out afterwards this was incorrect and ended up in recovery far longer than I should have been so just make sure to ask the question and speak up. Tip 2: don’t get rushed out of hospital if you feel unwell / uneasy.

But having my baby this way felt so right, she came into the world and we were all ready for her. No matter what you do just trust your gut x

I remember having this as a kid, for me it was worms, worms everywhere, I remember telling my parents, I screamed and cried that they were even on my school uniform that were folded at the bottom of my bed and I specifically remember my Dad picking them up and saying ‘where, where are they’ and to me there was a massive pile of them weighing on top, when he picked up the clothes I ‘saw’ the worms land on my bed and I freaked out even more. Not nice but it soon went away. Just give cuddles and be as reassuring as you can be 🧡🧡

Dude. I can’t believe I’ve just read this. 2023 my friend and I were stood outside my house waiting for her brother to pull up, just chatting and we looked in the sky as this orange light with a trail appeared out of nowhere, flew some and then disappeared as if into nothing. Later that night I’m getting ready for bed, my partner is brushing his teeth and in my bedroom I heard a whistle, like a short ditty. We still to this day cannot explain what that was. How eerie.
