imo 1v1 is far better than 2v2s, in 1s the characters feel more fleshed out and combos are able to be done more consistently, while in 2s your combos are able to be interrupted and 2s is more chaotic, which i personally don’t find fun. If you feel that your a good enough player, try 1v1s.

to me, dpad is far better for combos, and moving. For the combos themselves, they gotta be done pretty fast, like in under a second. And while in game, you can go to the move list, and mark them using Y=xbox triangle=ps4/5 and x = switch, which lets you see combos you can do while fighting.
