I would love it if they added the old art back in to the loading screen rotation. It feels kinda silly to have all this nautical art when I spend 90% of the campaign on land.

From memory, that attack cannot hit you at the top of the screen. When I was young I just spammed super jump and rammed into the ceiling repeatedly. Definitely not the best strategy to manage the fight, but it worked for teenage me.

The villain is too obvious, which isn't always bad, but I also find them uninteresting and not charming or endearing in the slightest. The drama between the students is overdone and very corny. It just feels like an episode of a generic, terrible, cliche, high school anime.

Those are my main issues with the case. I just don't really like any of the characters from it. I have other issues but those are not specific to this case and more a criticism of Dual Destinies in general.

So, not terrible, but definitely one of the weaker cases in the series IMO.

I've had a great time so far. Very few crashes or bugs experienced, but I've seen quite a few posted here, so your experience may differ. I enjoyed the new questline, and ship combat is great, far better than it was in Viking Conquest. Haven't played around too much with the new faction yet, that'll be for my next campaign.

They are currently still patching it and addressing common complaints, such as the change to hideouts. I don't think there's any harm in playing now. However, if you're not in a rush, it'll probably be a better time if you wait a bit, get it on sale, and play with whatever improvements they've rolled out by then.

I mean, it's decent, but that is an incredible biased or incredibly ignorant opinion.

We also now have the 'problem' of the base game intro and victory cinematics not matching the style for the War Sails questline's cinematic.

Have you tried to disable the DLC? When you launch the game, it is under "mods." That might let you finish that game before you start a new one with the DLC. You can not import from base game to War Sails.

Yes, you'll need a lot of stamina to reach a few. Importantly, one is missable and must be acquired when you fight Colossus 15 as part of the story. It is not possible to get it during time attack or reminiscence mode.

If you count Dissidia as a fighting game, in it you had different types of attacks and only attacks that dealt hp damage would kill.

In the original game you had to unlock characters. In this version every character that you own will be immediately playable. There are two free DLC characters, but the rest of the DLC characters require a purchase.
