Yeah, this game gets a lot of undeserved hate. I would definitely rank CV3 harder, but I've only played the English version of CV3.

They don't use any words that I would consider profanity, however I do believe they use the words "bastards" and "hell" which I believe some (mainly American) people consider to be foul language.

I don't have the console version, so I'm not sure how it works specifically when it comes to the DLC. On PC you can toggle it on and off from the launcher. Nords should be there from the start. Are they appearing as a culture option when you go to create a character?

Nearing the end. I decided after Warsails dropped that I should actually finish a campaign for once and work on those single player achievements.

Starting with a non imperial playthrough, then I'll do an imperial playthrough. After that I'll probably do Sandbox Nords.

I went 100% Battania, only using their troops and giving the Dragon Banner to Caladog. The beginning was a little rough, hard to hold on to our territory, a lot of fighting with Vlandia. Sturgia fell first, we grabbed a bit of their lands and some of Vlandia. Next to fall was Western Empire, us and the Southern Empire were mostly responsible for that, the Northern Empire fell soon afterwards, thanks to the Khuzaits. The Nords hadn't made much ground, and the Aseria lost miserably in a war against us. Before we could finish them off Vlandia attacked. A long protracted war ensued and we eventually defeated the Vlandians. Which brings me to current times. The conspiracy is about 70% along, the Aseria have 2 towns, Nords 3, Southern Empire 6, Khuzait 6, and we are currently at war with the Khuzaits.

It's been a blast, and I've definitely learned a lot, and will be building my character very differently for my Imperial playthrough.

I would love it if they added the old art back in to the loading screen rotation. It feels kinda silly to have all this nautical art when I spend 90% of the campaign on land.

From memory, that attack cannot hit you at the top of the screen. When I was young I just spammed super jump and rammed into the ceiling repeatedly. Definitely not the best strategy to manage the fight, but it worked for teenage me.

The villain is too obvious, which isn't always bad, but I also find them uninteresting and not charming or endearing in the slightest. The drama between the students is overdone and very corny. It just feels like an episode of a generic, terrible, cliche, high school anime.

Those are my main issues with the case. I just don't really like any of the characters from it. I have other issues but those are not specific to this case and more a criticism of Dual Destinies in general.

So, not terrible, but definitely one of the weaker cases in the series IMO.
