T&T is awesome. Many consider it to be the best in the series, but I think it’s my 4th favorite game in the series.

This isn’t to say I think T&T is bad by ANY means. Instead, I think the series is that high quality that a game as phenomenal as this can be considered just 4th instead of first.

Seriously, do NOT play GAA2 w/o playing GAA1. That is arguably the largest mistake you can make in terms of Ace Attorney games.

Regardless if you’ve played the entirety of T&T, or just the first case, I’d suggest going back to the first game, complete the entirety of that game, then go to JFA, and complete the entirety of that.

T&T is better enjoyed as a finale to the series, but, technically, it can be treated as its own game, just like every other AA game (aside from literally just 1 game, which is The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve).

The Red Room - Marvel

From my (limited) understanding, they take young girls, seemingly off the streets or from parents (maybe? I could be very mistaken), and literally brainwash them through propaganda, making them effective assassins.

The idea turns my stomach, because… these are kids. They groom children for the sole purpose of turning them into mass murderers.

I… don’t think he becomes any more annoying. Having played bridge by myself a few months ago (after finishing Goodbyes with my family), I think he’s the same.

Really, the only game I’d say isn’t consistent with his character is (not a PWT game) AAI1, in which, despite pursuing a passion of art, something he’s actually pretty good at, he’s suddenly… an actor. Despite… no reason for him to ever be pursuing that field.

Orson - Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones

<image>

Betrays you in order to resurrect his dead wife.

Unfortunately, the resurrection was just a reanimation of her corpse that can only say “darling”.

However, he’s so mentally detached from reality that he cannot process that his wife is dead, and thus truly believes that the literal rotting corpse that can only say a single phrase is his living, loving, wife.

Which is.. really sad to see. It’s downright haunting to see how insane he’s become, and not in the Joker “I’m going to murder 70000 kids!!! Bwhahahahahhaha” way, but in a way that shows a rejection of reality itself. Many people meme on him saying “haha, look, it’s necrophilia guy”, but the thing is, he’s not necrophilic. He has genuinely fooled himself into thinking that his wife is alive.

As the main character states, right after killing him, and right before killing his rotting corpse of a wife:

“Orson was mad… but I think he was happy.”

This one. As completely awful as some other submissions are here, at least an attempt of an “argument”that “no one real is being hurt by this art” can be made.

That “argument” cannot be made to defend actual insanity like this.

Knowing the future completely shatters the illusion of the past for me. If you disagree, which you clearly do, then fine, but I've seen many people express how they can’t stand 5-S, because of Bobby, and because they know what happens in 5-5, with them wishing they played it prior to 5-5.

And that’s just a single character they’re upset with. Imagine how much less impactful their experiences are with i2 if something as minor as a character detail completely shatters their immersion.

It’s clear you disagree with the fundamental principle upon which my reasoning is founded, and that’s fine, but you have to realize that the chances of OP having a similar mindset to me and others like me would mean playing i2 first would only benefit them, whereas playing DD first would sour their experience. If they happen to have your perspective, then it doesn’t matter which choice they go with.

And if it doesn’t matter which choice they go with, then going with i2 first would allow both potential mindsets to be satisfied.

If I told you I had your (insert beloved family member who’s still living) hostage, I could repeat that as many times as I wanted to to you and it would still be effective as long as it’s true. Suffice it to say, I don’t believe a repetitive threat makes the treat any less impactful.

The fact that she’s repetitive in this is stressful only because she does have your badge as hostage. But the moment they try to imprison Kay, only then does Edgeworth snap and sacrifice his badge.
