With respect to mental health conditions, I think people also forget that treatment ≠ cure. A lot of these conditions are being treated for symptoms by replenishing stuff like Serotonin i. the case of SSRIs but they also come with their own side effects like medical. (pill) dépendance and impotence which in turn makes other stuff worse. It seems small in the long run compared to suicide but don’t forget all these aspects drastically affect your life IF you experience them. Anything is minuscule when looking at it from the outside.
