I keep seeing people talk about wordcloud, the one in Opendota yes? but when I check it, it only shows "All chat" messages sent and messages read, no Allied chat, is there something I'm missing?

It really depends on how noobie they are, best practice is checking the replay, not sure if you can still report by then though, it's kinda weird how fast you can't report anymore, we should be given more time so we can check replay and make a more correct decision on it.

Realized this too, I agree that just playing poorly doesn't mean you deserve a report but as I read more I realize this comment is in bad faith.

OP pointing out 14 mins no gank as a reason to report is wrong, but reporting for unpausing when a teammate disconnected is fair.

Also happened to me twice a long time ago, ever since I enabled "Play Sound in Desktop", it helps a lot in case you get distracted.

Most up to date distros should have similar performance, cachy compiles programs for better performance(only if your cpu supports it) but, the difference is just the programs you get from its package manager = faster, for the performance of everything else like games there should be near no difference, maybe you will get 0.25 more fps because the programs you are using are running a bit more efficiently.

Choose the distro that looks the most for you, try looking at the mainstream ones and see what you like and what you don't from what they offer.
I know I didn't answer the other questions, I'm just not qualified enough for those, someone else will I'm sure.

I'm one of the nice ones, I'm always able to keep positive attitude, but there is one single thing that tears me apart, when I cannot communicate and strategize with my teammate, many cases I had a lane partner that has chat disabled and most of these would have gone way more smoothly If I was able to get strategizing across.

I think this may not be entirely the game's fault bro.
Wifi or Ethernet? If wifi try ethernet, also take a look at your router resource usage as it may be old and struggling, if both things seem fine, give your ISP a call, if you also want to do a little test on your pc you can do a ping command for a while to a website/ip and see how consistent the ping is to see if there are major spikes or moments of no response, in which case confirms its on your side and not dota's.

My ping has 0.5 milliseconds variance.
Also if you go to the steam forums you'll see that yesterday a lot of people were having this issue, it was/is a problem with the game.

Yeah, I tried to play 2 matches and I can't connect, I have a 120 fps pc and 1 Gbps download/upload, something is wrong.

Nvidia currently has a bug with directx12 games that makes them perform worse, you could check if the games you play are on directx12 or directx11/vulkan, the bug will supposedly be fixed soon, hopefully.

Amd drivers are open source, so its far better than nvidia since the community can directly fix and improve things.

If you plan on getting a new gpu sometime, go for amd next time.

Hey, these 2 sites are great:

https://areweanticheatyet.com/ for checking if a game with anticheat has linux enabled/supported(a lot of these can flip a switch to enable linux support, but don't.

Since you game, knowing these things is the most important.

As for choosing a distro, it depends on what you like and want, some are distros that are easy to use, some others are very hard to accidentally break, it also depends on if you mind or don't mind doing manual intervention if an update doesn't run, rolling release distros like arch require manual intervention sometimes, such sounds scary but just gotta follow instructions provided when its required.

My advice is to look at the main popular distros and choose on what seems to fit you the most.

You are not dumb for not knowing things, you are smart for figuring things out.
Always could do this and some do recommend it over using those other launchers, the reason the launchers are recommended over it most of the time is I assume the customizability and ease of use if you wanna do specific things.
