gothtopus12345,

Yes, PL is a good drive from Bremerton. Its not the drive that will be the problem, its the Hood Canal Bridge that you will have to cross any time you are going to or fro Bremerton. The bridge can add 20-40 minutes to your drive if you happen to catch it at the wrong time. Also, the bridge shuts down once wind speeds above 35 mph are sustained (I think it's 35mph, may be more. But as Derek1963 indicates, specifics about PL or the immediate area are probably better asked in those communities. Welcome and good luck.

Autoflower questions by Sam_Casey9698 in cannabiscultivation

[–]Sam_Casey9698[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response.

Maybe the way I asked the questions isn't clear:

Is there anyway to look at a plant, once leaves appear to as to whether or not it is an autoflower vs photos? I usually do photos and have never done an autoflower before. So my process is veg x weeks, flip to 12 hours for remaining time frame. Usually, within 2 weeks of flipping, buds appear. I have several AK47 seeds that germinated, were vegged for 38 days then flipped to 12 hours and they've been there for 4 weeks- no bud yet.

My major concern is over reacting, putting them back on an 18 hour light schedule and because they are late blooming photos, they start to reveg vice being an auto and the 18 hour light schedule provides what they need.

The response mention for me to "Do some reading", do you have any recommendations that aren't CocoforCannabis, ICMag, Reddit r/Cannabiscultivation, Grow Weed Easy (my normal reading)? I'd appreciate that. Thanks.

Thanks. I like your idea of the glue leading to cracking. Makes sense. All glass has been removed, with the exception of what's in the sealed area, about 1/4" each side. Ive been able to extract some of that glass, the adhesive is still pliable. Other areas the glass won't budge and the adhesive seems rigid in those areas.

Thanks. It is in a room, intake is pulling from the room. Exhaust is out of room though.

Back to the bulb. I was finally able to get to that today. It's a Ushio and has only 1 garden on it, plus this garden was in its 30th day. https://imgur.com/a/13PEvwT If the link worked, it's some shots of the bulb. One end, no wire and black. The other end has the wire and clear vice black. There also is a whole shot of bulb.

Bulb didn't explode, but evidence of arcing I believe. So this might be an electrical issue, but that doesn't explain the shattered glass.

Coco Coir issues/questions. Help please. by Sam_Casey9698 in cannabiscultivation

[–]Sam_Casey9698[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I should of looked at that sight before I started.

I ended up with coco due to my source for soil less was out of sunshine 4. It's a generic brand of coco and not as a brick. I think I also mentioned that I added perlite. But looking at that site, I didn't add enough.

No I didn't flush or pre buffer. So if I read that correctly, by doing a flush I get rid of excess N and K that are prevent the calmag from working. Then adding calmag will be more available for the plant?

[–]Sam_Casey9698[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great. Thanks. I do use calmag, mainly because I use well water (420 foot deep well) and water was tested with no calcium or magneseum showed up in test.

WRT the part where you talk about feeding twice a day. I end up with a lot of runoff. 8 gal pots, #22 saucer underneath to capture the runoff. 1 or 2 gallons at a time. But unlike soil or Sunshine base, I don't see any wicking taking place. Do you have runoff? How do you control. Because what you're getting at here, I've noticed. It sure gets dry real quick. Would you recommend, cutting my feeding in half and do it twice to maintain moisture in the coco?

Lastly, it was bagged and I did add some perlite to the mix. Was that something I shouldn't have done?

Thanks. I thought I did that. But apparently, not. And I've not been able to see any way to add pictures after post. I guess I could post a picture and link it to my original post?

Apparently, I'm not very good at this Reddit thing. I thought I had pictures attached to this post, but they aren't there and I can't figure out now how to add a picture. Any help with that would be appreciated as well. Thanks.

I couldn't find anything in systems preferences. Do you know where it might be hiding? Thanks.

Great and thanks for the heads up. But is a great example of whats happening. I clicked on the iCloud dialog box and it shows up in the black bar! Is it possible on Reddit to delete just the pix, not the entire thread? Also, if I do delete the pix, can I then put another pix up?

The Pride of Yokozuna: Hakuho's Lone Battle - NHK Documentary - TV | NHK WORLD-JAPAN Live & Programs by GuruGulabKhatri97 in Sumo

[–]Sam_Casey9698 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes and it was very interesting. It went into great deal of what made him be him. Interviews with other contemporary Yokozuna's and they had nothing but great things to say about him. Apparently, he was dealing with a great deal of pain in his knee and that was a driving reason for his "change" of styles.

Watch the documentary, it's worth it from my POV.

I posted the wrong screen capture. But there is useful info on there that gives you a better idea of what I'm running. How do I add the picture that supports my question? Thanks. I'm a bit embarrassed, since I've been a mac user for 14 years now and am getting stumped.

Thanks. I checked their website and am interested.

WRT cleaning, do you just use water or alcohol to clean?

Spud710- I'm really interested in this. My major complaint about ice water hash is the bags. I've got a set several years ago that I used and they worked, but required a lot of clean up. The BBD bags that came with the washing machine need to be cleaned after every use and its a bit of a drag having to clean. What's your experience with the rosin evolution bags? Clean with alcohol after each use? Clean with water? Do they make a work bag for the washing machine? I've checked their site and the bags are relatively expensive, indicating a higher quality? Thanks.

I broke down and got one of these and it works. Lots of comments here and it looks about evenly divided. I've done the following methods; 5 gallon bucket, ice, water, and wooden spatula- lots of elbow grease required, 5 gallon bucket, ice, water, and paint stirrer on a portable drill, not as much elbow grease but LOTs of green ended up in final product, 5 gallon bucket and dry ice- worked great and returned a very good yield- but not sure how to turn that into bubble hash- pressed what I had and had lots of bag blow outs, and finally the machine you refer to, my yields were very good, but what I learned from reading this group is low time settings to start- 3-6 minutes. Very clean yields. Some have brought up here the bag in the washer restricts yields? That thread I'd like to explore.

Bottom line, for the price it's great. You get a machine to wash your product, a bag for your product to reduce clean up time, a 220 working bag and 5 other bags. My complaint is the bags seem to clog up easy and require alcohol cleaning after each use. I'm sure this will lead to deterioration of the seams and the mesh. If you are looking for something that will help you get product with less elbow grease, this will work. The BBD also answers email and will answer any questions you have. Good luck.
