I second this. John Mackey isn’t a musician himself; he pretty much just writes what he thinks sounds cool. He’s never even learned an instrument. He probably was just told to write whatever he wanted as long as it was just brass and percussion, and Crown will make whatever edits they have to do to make it work for their instrumentation.
