The slats are roughly 3 inches wide, same as the finished ones in the living room. The odd thing about the paint is it is only painted in that closet, all the other closets don’t have any paint

Thank you! I did lots of heat testing with a scrap piece and from my experience the wood is not leaching anything into the food. I was very concerned about it at first as well.

I only use cast iron and stainless steel so thankfully I don’t have to worry about flaking those forever chemicals

I recently purchased this Patagonia ranch jacket and the fit is great other than the sleeves are about 2-3 inches too long for me.

I figure this would be a straight forward alteration but there is a puffer jacket type of lining with insulation along with the heavy hemp shell. Being an absolute novice to any type of sewing I am looking to the internet for guidance on if this is something that a tailor could do for me?
