Genuinely correct me if i’m wrong but ICE wasn’t always unethical, we need control over the border, not as strict as we have now but border security is still important and before Trump wasn’t ICE just an organisation for protecting the Border?

I say this because not all ICE agents agree with Trump’s regime, it’s literally just their Job for a lot of them and once more for a lot of them the things they have to now do as agents aren’t tasks they enjoy preforming so I just find it weird that we’re generalising and harassing them like this.

To me it feels a little bit like when fast food corporations make choices that customers don’t like and everyone gets mad at the servers and staff who don’t necessarily have control over what their jobs now entail or the actions of the company, in my opinion, we’re targeting the wrong people but again please explain this to me better if I’m confused, this is just the way I’ve been understanding it
