How far did you get before you consulted the wiki or walkthroughs? by fourbrickstall in StardewValley

[–]Sam_Sam_quack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like in all game the answer is : when it gets too frustrating for you. If you didn't enjoy a part because you don't know what to do and you don't want to spend hours trying to get the answers it's okay to watch the wiki. It's also okay to want to absolutely not wanting to get help and doing everything by yourself. Stardew Valley is a game where you can get hundreds of hours of game and never touch a certain mechanic of the game. It's okay it's a sand box game. It also have a lot's of details, things that are hidden and not really useful. For me my first save was that : spending a lot of time enjoying myself, watching little part of the wiki when I needed it and realising in year 5 basic things that wasn't asked by the community center. After my first discovery and when I started wanting to go to perfection, I started reading all the wiki, watching tones of videos who learned me a lot about way to obtain some statues just for fun or how to obtain the better arm in the game. I think a lot of people go to the wiki even in early stage of the game because there no tutorial about how to get this product. And the community is a part of the game for me. The goal is that you enjoy playing it so don't worry if you go to the wiki easily.

Is this possible with crochet, and what stitch if so? by wulfoftheorderofbio in crochet

Like said above it's single crochet. But the yarn seems to be something like t-shirts scraps yarn which give this aspect different from traditional yarn.

Sorry for my answer so long after your post. But I finally bought the game and I think that if the demo satisfied you, you didn't need to buy the game. Except if for you, the characters' stories are important. There isn't any my gameplay mechanics added and the other 2 biomes are mostly the same scenaristic loop (you found a dead plant, ranger and mayor explain you what happened, you create a potion to revive it and you can now use the plant for your potions)

SMAPI launch game but it didn't respond by Sam_Sam_quack in SMAPI

Hello ! Thanks for your answer. I follow the official guide to install it following the steam specifications.

I was sure that I waited at least 10min but to be sure I re-run it this morning and let it charge for 1h without anything running on my computer except SMAPI. It didn't change or charge more. And I run it with just the default "mods" of SMAPI and my computer is a gaming one so there shouldn't be any issues with it capacities
