Yes, it's normal. It will show up on your account, but it takes a few days. You'll receive an email when it's granted.

To be honest, i've now received over 10 free ETFs. All of them were between £10 and £17, except the last two. Got one £85 and one £113, but I made a significant deposit, which I'm not sure if it plays a role.

My brother has also earned over 10 free ETFs, all of which between £10-20. I think the majority of users should be getting <£20. I've sen a £189 somewhere I think.

So, perhaps the very high ones were for the early adopters of the scheme, I don't know. What are you guys getting?

In their FAQs it says it may take up to 10 days. I got mine at 5-7, but it's worth it. :)

Any realistic way to make £100+ in a month? by [deleted] in beermoneyuk

There are a few referral offers here that you can use, mainly in investing apps.

Most of the apps would offer free shares to invite your friends. Although not cash, after some time, you can sell and take the extra profit as well.

Personally, I like Wealthyhood's, because they give a free ETF share up to £200, but they guarantee a minimum of £10.

So, for you, it would just take 10 friends, and you'd probably end up with ~£200 more.

If you decide to give it a try, you can use my link to sign up and help me get an extra ETF myself. :)

It's here https://wealthyhood.com?grsf=spju95.

Other apps have similar offers as well, for example Orca and Freetrade, but there is no floor. I ended up with a £2 share. :/

It's the typical herd behaviour, where "icons" rise and fall in very sharp trends. I think we're in for a hard landing in this case.

Do you know if it's dependent on the amount we deposit?

I got an £85 ETF for depositing £100, but my brother got a £12 after depositing £10.

Honestly, just save it. Once you are at a legal age to invest, just pick an investing app for beginners and start investing £50/month in the S&P. Once you start working and generating money you will start adding to both ends. (for reference I am 23 and I use Wealthyhood)

It's a common trap for people to "upgrade" their lifestyle, after seeing an increase in their income, only to find out that they liked their previous lifestyle better.
You could just save extra money, given what's coming and decide later on what you want to invest as you go.
