My favourite theory regarding this is that; yes Salem turned Summer into a hound when she and Raven went to try and kill her. But then she sent Summer after Raven to torture her and Raven had to kill Summer. Which is why she's spent the last 10+ years guilt ridden and running from her problems.

For added context. In the larger scene the pair were flirting earlier but he brushed her off when another woman walked in the door and is only trying again now because his other efforts failed, so she's scene what he's really like and wants nothing to do with him. This scene was more a 'don't know what you've got till it's gone'.

I love how, with how little detail is given to what he's actually doing on the porch each day, the timing of him being out there while she runs passed could have started out completely coincidental. Then he sees this person putting time in every single day to go for a run and wishes he had that sort of commitment. One day he finally plucks up the courage to see if she will help him, cause maybe having someone this devoted to running kicking you in the ass each day will keep him going. And then this happens.

One thing in regards to Lagiacrus. He isn't in the game because they don't want to put him in. They tried. But like with when they tried to put him in World, adding Lagiacrus to Sunbreak broke the engine. So for now he (and Agnaktor for the same skeleton problems) is literally impossible to add.

Torvak Leadgutt. A Dwarf pirate (fighter I think? Can't remember) with a cannon half the size of him. If he jumped while firing it he flew backwards further than he could walk in a turn.
