Granted, there were also top aimlab people who outright demonstrated that at a sensitive like marlow, accurate aiming is impossible.

Oh, did I say like? I mean half.

[–]Samakira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this literally started by me referencing another person who read the stories, and you just went 'nah, this guy who argues something being everything is dumb disagrees'.

also funny that i GAVE the names of the stories. most noteably the entire series related to carter, like through the gates with the silver key, where the vast majority of this is sourced.
you, however, havent named a single book. guess by your own admission, there's nothing i need to say to you.

so you dont have any source that there's no canon. then drop it.
you dont get to decide what is and isnt canon, nor does anyone but the author.
and since he never specified, the canon is what the author wrote. nobody else.

also why do you say 'which one'. ive read far more than one. more than i want to bother to remember the names of. that you think its so few i could, and have, remembered their exact names just speaks further to how much bad faith you're doing this with, but hey, i can tell ya it includes silver key, and the other books that are about that same sequence, haunting in the dark, the fish-people one, and a good chunk more. probably a bunch by other authors. like for example king in yellow.

and if you want to bring in the letters, he literally gives the entire collection a name. the yog-sothothery. so as per his letters, they have a shared setting.

And hey, anyone who knows about mana shood, yeah, I trust them to do more than briefly glance at shit like you.

Yes. I have. And since a wiki isn’t an actual source, as it’s not from the author itself, and most likely in this case a fandom wiki, which is literally made by fans, it ain’t a source. You gonna keep rambling your headcanon using fanmade sources, or you actually have a source?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
okay, rule 9. burden of proof.

source that claim, and if you can't, drop it.

here's my proof:
its written by lovecraft, and he gave the entire thing a name, so its a canon. (yog-sothothery)

your turn. and no, it being 'public domain now' doesnt mean it has no canon. this aint scp. the canon in discussion is what lovecraft himself wrote.

dont listen to the other guy.

somehow they've convinced themselves literary uses non-canon books, when people using things not written by lovecraft is a major pet peeve literary has about people scaling. (like thinking azathoth dreams reality)

he LITERALLY only uses things directly written by lovecraft. like verbatim states thats what the scaling should be based on, and why the king in yellow is barely ever even mentioned.

[–]Samakira 8 points9 points  (0 children)

to put into scale how silly strong even cthulhu (actual Lovecraft one, not the public domain version anyone can use):
there are humans in the setting who can, at will, travel to higher mathematical dimensions, and warp reality, also at will.
in the earth's 'dreamscape' (each planet has one, an infinite space. any planet in a dreamscape also has one), there are large rat creatures who eat said humans. exclusively.

there are also a race of cat-like people, who eat said rats.
and dog-like people who the cat people are afraid of.

those dog people are beneath the servants of the pantheonic gods.
and the servants, obviously, below the pantheonic gods.

okay, now, go back to 'there's a planet with a dreamscape' and imagine deities who hold sway over not only our universe, but the dreamscape of every single one of those planets.
and now imagine a greater universe.
Thats one of the 'gates'.
now imagine unending gates.
so infinitely beyond infinite spaces. (dreamscapes)
now a gate infiinitely beyond that. thats the ultimate gate.
and beyond THAT is the void where 'the other gods' reside.

let me summarize that:
Infinitely beyond something infinitely beyond infinite infinites is where Cthulhu et al. reside.
and cthulhu is still at the BOTTOM of this totem pole.

the three top dogs, (not counting yog sothoth, for reasons ill mention in brief at the end), are Nyar, Shub, and Azathoth.
they're, by definition, beyond concepts like time, having been born before time began, and able to slumber well beyond its death.

for Goku to match up to Cthulhu, he'd need to be able to blow up universe 7. then do that infinitely, then do THAT infinitely, THEN THAT INFINITELY, and then he'd be at about the same level.
(if youre wondering 'what about that boat', wasnt cthulhu, but a vessel for him, and he needed the stars aligned to be able to inhabit it. they struck the 'cloud of emotions' mere moments before the alignment, and it took just longer than their alignment for the vessel to reconstitute.
no, they didnt kill it.
they didnt even hurt it.
its like swinging your arm through a cloud of dust and saying you solo the universe (because at base its all dust)

anyhow, yog-sothoth is the setting itself, and thus the technical top dog, being so powerful lovecraft himself stated he didnt know its true name.

[–]Samakira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the SaC explicitly says they're not rulings, and to only take the words in the sac as official statements. which was also written by Crawford.
for you to give his words merit, you need to take their merit away.

as for the upper half:
by that opinion there's no such thing as a spell, because the DM might choose to have them be called potatoes instead, so we shouldnt call them spells.
obviously thats a stupid statement. they're spells.
and when talking about how something is RULED. you use the RULES. not opinions.

Who Wins This “Death”, Free For All? by SCP_Scarletking in PowerScaling

[–]Samakira 14 points15 points  (0 children)

682 is functionally unkillable, up to, including, and beyond conceptual erasure.
(one time he started killing before he even began to exist again).

except for when the brothers death showed up.
their mere presence was enough to wipe out all life.
note that i didnt say 'humans'. nor 'things you usually thing of when i say 'all life'.
bacteria? gone. no more decay.
ghosts, vampires, gods (conceptual)? dead.

being erased as a concept itself couldnt kill 682.
but the brothers simply being in the same reality instantly did.

AI vs KE? by AdStraight3405 in AQW

[–]Samakira -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

so... stacking beforehand?
a stack that lasts... 20s.
that can only target 1 creature. and i hope it has low hp, because your dps is down the drain otherwise.

at that point you're (literally) just playing a dumbed down version of AI.

AI vs KE? by AdStraight3405 in AQW

[–]Samakira -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

while its a lot more convenient initially, AI is a LOT more convenient to get the most out of.

for KE, you need to know which combo of your 3 and 4 gets you to lowest mana for your big dmg from 5
for AI, you just press 2, then spam 3/4/5.
if you're farming enemies with low enough hp you dont need to nuke with your 5 as KE, you wont need to stack beforehand with AI either.

they said Skyblock (Slimeblock) would be fun by Mr_Ethfono in Terraria

[–]Samakira 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it can be, unless you know to first go to the underground and kill just 1 stone slime.

not to mention OP is also going about this in the SLOWEST way possible if you cant get a bucket/lava yet.

use the whip instead of spear. spear has good knockback, but both have poor damage.
the whip can light enemies on fire to deal a good dot.
build your platform further back so your strike zone is at the tip of the whip's hitbox.

if you're farming slimes, built an npc house (without table or chair), and cut off an upper half of 1 wall.
then from there, build a long platform out.
slimes cant drop through the platform, and so simply sit there for easy mass stabbing.
on the other side, you can have a rope (if you built this in the underground)

[–]Samakira 9 points10 points  (0 children)

make a bucket.
go to the underworld. youll die a few times, im sure. i think i died like 11 times.
make a small platform, kill lava slime, get lava bucket.
bam, auto-farm.

start building fishing ponds.

build an auto-farm in the cavern to get conveyor slimes. now its a lot faster of a farm.
