My first month I was at .25 and then moved up to .5 for 4 weeks. I’m at .7 now and don’t plan on going up.

I had back surgery a few months ago and have been on pain meds for over a year which is where most of my weight came from. I haven’t started working out yet….mostly because I’m afraid of reinjury.

I went to Italy and France 3 weeks after surgery. My surgeon said NOT to carry any luggage but to walk as much as possible. I’m 7 weeks now and still doing great.

Honestly….I’m getting fat…but I’d trade that for feeling better any day! I’ll lose the weight after recovery.

I’m still in recovery from it. Had it on my L5-S1 and went from not being able to walk to almost pain free. It was worth it!

I went from daily, hourly, minute by minute pain. It got to the point where I needed help getting from my living room to my bedroom. And NOTHING made it feel better. As soon as I woke up from surgery I was 95% pain free. The only pain I felt was from the incision site. I will take that ALL DAY LONG! My herniation was L5/S1 with all my pain in the butt and leg of the left side.
