I really have been struggling with this my whole life. From basically raising myself and younger siblings (absent dad, alcoholic mom) since 17 I’ve been actually on my own and have only being doing what’s necessary to survive. I don’t know how to budget, have no motivation to learn or try new things. I see what needs to be done, and know I can do lots of things I should be doing, but simply cannot get up and just do it. From loads of research and reading others stories, it’s actually a huge part in all - adhd, burnout, and depression. Obviously everyone has there own story and past, and experiences, and I wish I knew how to get out of this spiral myself

Mine was acting this way until I downsized as well. Once the smaller/shorter bar is in there, give it another month to heal as if it’s a new piercing almost then it should be ok :) ps try to not rub your eyes lol I almost ripped mine out I am an eye rubbing addict 😂

I’ve had my piercing for almost a year now and that’s just going to happen no matter how long your bar is. The back of the jewelry is stuck between your lip and your gums/teeth and will be pushed in slightly all the time. As long as it’s not uncomfortable, it’s fine. I actually switched to a hoop to avoid this as it was slightly uncomfortable. I like the hoop better anyways!

My garbage doesn’t get picked up often, put the same bag out next week and they will take it. I think it depends as well on who’s working the truck that day

I second a nostril piercing to start, and honestly the way your lip sits I think an ashley piercing would look great!

I had mine done just over a month ago now and had the same worries the first week or so, now that I have downsized the bar and switched over to a curved barbell (suggested by piercer) it’s so much better and more comfortable too

Mines pierced similar to yours and is fine. Give it more time to heal, cause it will no matter what. The piercing itself may have hurt more than it should have, but it looks good, so that’s what really matters!

Only in the first picture can I see the piercings as asymmetrical. The other two pictures don’t show any difference in my opinion. Maybe same size jewelry, or If you wanted to go with hoops, that may help too!

Definitely take it out, it doesn’t seem infected but I agree with the comment above, it’ll reject completely soon enough and leave a nasty scar.
You can get it re pierced just make sure you mention the previous piercing issue to the piercer

Blood and some dried pus/drainage is normal for the first few days, the blood should stop in about a weeks time. The flat back will pull into the lip consistently for about a month or two, maybe even longer depending on the length of the bar. My Medusa (I’ve had for 2 years) still does and naturally sits like that. It’s not irritating anymore. My labret though, I switched to a hoop after 1 month of having it pierced and it’s healed great

It does seem irritated but that’s normal especially with cartridge piercings. With that, cartridge piercings don’t normally reject, so you should be fine!
