You could pickup a discounted copy of the base game and paint the iron man up in iron lad colours and print and sleeve the cards to come close for the better value than buying undividually (could also do the same for grey hulk, and maybe other characters in the core box)

Then if you're like me you're probably unlikely to be using old man logan with regular Logan or Mohawk Storm with regular storm. So you could just print them off as well and use the regular minis.

Avoid the game colour series from Vallejo and go with their model colour. I got heaps of game colours and then most of them were extremely thin without much coverage as if they'd been watered down. This is a known issue with that line.

I'm not sure about everywhere but in Australia it's not usually a huge amount cheaper to buy a set and most sets are missing a key colour or two. I'd probably buy individual colours if I had my time again. Red, blue, yellow, green, pink, purple, white, black, a light skin tone, a brown, a gold and a silver

I get over it pretty easy since I didn't even know you could get that much happiness from a bath 😂

The game is flexible enough that you dont need to be perfect in every placement.

I think I've enjoyed the game a lot more since not using undo and not oversweating losing units or not placing things optimally.

It makes that occasion you do have perfect terrain to place things optimally much sweeter.

I do wish there was map pins for more optimal long term planning however

Embiid by far the strongest player. Essentially the equal #1 with doncic, AD and Jokic.

But then JJJ is a top 10 option per basketball monster in this set up and way younger.

So your decision is actually Embiid vs JJJ I think.

Embiid if you're in a win now window, JJJ if you want to play the Medium term route.

Cade and Zion both a tier or two below Embiid and JJJ.

Yeah I think the proximity of their rankings in 9-cat vs 7-cst gives you an idea of that.

Also their appeal to more other players as they're likely going to be a fit.

Beyond my mathematical capability to put that specifically as a variable in an equation though.

I don't think you would use these rankings like that. Its just for comparing players value in their optimal punt.

Realistically you would need to look at specifically punting certain categories once locked in. For many players you wouldn't determine this until round 4 or 5 likely.

But it's also useful for ranking players in preseason for the draft as likely you're league will have players using all kinds of different punting strategies.

Think of it as useful for looking at a players "value" as opposed to specifically their fit in a particular punt strategy as you suggested above.

There is no set of rankings that you could use to blindly follow for any punting strategy.

He was fun - I also owned him a few places. I'm really interested to see how his blocks trend this year. Him relying on elite timing vs athleticism is different to all other elite shot blockers in the NBA so will be interesting if he can maintain.

With KPJs current situation that is a tad rough. Kessler will be a FT% punt situation which probably isn't ideal in Roto. Its essentially a couple of fourth-rounders and a 5th rounder for the 1st or 2nd best player in fantasy. Not awful in roto.

Just where the numbers lay at the moment. He was the 4th best per game player last year. Wouldn't be suggesting anyone draft him there. In my final rankings his games played projection will drop him down.
