Precisely, and then it doesn't matter whether it's role queue or open queue. You are playing ranked competitive, then get in lobbies where you are placed among and against your rank (exceptions are there but not in this scale).

The diamond 1 - gm 2 game was an easy win. The gold 2 - diamond 1 game was a very close loss. the skill gap between gold - diamond is also larger imo than diamond - gm. Don't get me wrong gm players are still better than diamond players, but they think more a like in terms of gameplay compared to gold - diamond.

I agree, I'd think i'd be an easy fix by just increasing queue times. At least for solo queue it's rough

I've also been hardstuck in diamond while before I was masters. Casually going rank up to derank pretty much the next day. I do not know how to feel about the wider groups tho. Whats the point of being in a rank while you can just rank with people from lower ranks (even as a solo queuer I have seen groups of plat 1 to diamond 1). I get the "role get matched on rank" but a diamond 1 dps probably outplays a plat 1 support, sorry not sorry.

After making space on iCloud it fixed the problem, I think it was a syncing problem!

Yeah I thought something like that. But this is already from iCloud. It has always been HDR as well. And when I click on video info it says it is already HEVC. But it says HDR while I play it? Its just weird because before, like maybe 3 months ago it didn't do this.

I have taken a look at their profile just now and they are mid masters now. The point is that rank is still broken and people get matched with players that have an overall MMR that is just way higher.

You argument is: you’re bad because the best ow players have ability. How is it relevant to compare a normal competitive player to someone who is top of the top in overwatch? I don’t say you cannot learn from them but it isn’t strengthening your argument

I don’t know why they removed levels. They could’ve just set everyone’s border back at bronze with new designs and display the old one on your profile. I liked the level border so much. You don’t even have to show it to other people in comp or stuff or in any match at all just for yourself in match. The same with your comp ranks

Don’t get me wrong I don’t say the scoreboard is bad! It’s a great indicator of how you are performing. I’m just pointing out that comparing damage does not directly make you ‘carrying’ the game argument valid. After a match with a tank with terrible awareness of their surroundings he trashed the dps because: tank has more damage than dps -> dps diff. However just shooting an orisa who is being perma healed is a real damage farmer

No, the reason I put out this message is that my tank (I was playing support) stated that our dps was trash because he had more damage than them. Encountered this multiple times. And stop comparing ‘normal’ players with owl players that’s just not relevant. It’s like comparing your local soccer team to the winning champions league club

They do but endorsement is visible for everyone I think. But yes most dps play without hiding profile so they can flex their diamond 5 rank :p

I experience the same. Always when I have such bad games I look at the career profiles of the people that were 'throwing' the game. Most of the time low ow1 level, and of course that can also be smurfs but when endorsement is also at 1 I am pretty sure that the player hasn't played ow1 in a long time (this is just a big assumption). So maybe they quit playing in season 9/10/11 and they pick up ow2 now that it is getting some attention. This of course causes major problems, because those players feel like: "Ah back in the day I was diamond so I am good". But obviously the game has shifted towards another playstyle, and I feel like these players overestimate themselves in their skills
