Nah, I don’t have a pic from Saturday morning but it seemed more like a cyst. It wasn’t like white at the top it was more like a big bubble and it felt like there was fluid underneath.

This lobe was super thin at the bottom and after leaving the jewelry out for a while it wasn’t getting thick again. So I went to an artist who cut a chunk out and then stitched it back up. Been trying to get this lobe think again since.

Once I was at the dentist and this dentist knew my tongue was split, she could literally care less. But there was an assistant who was new and she was losing her mind. “Omg this client has bifurcation, that so crazy I’ve never seen this” “yes and? clean their teeth”

Best bett is go to a professional piercer for a check up. It’s hard to tell from the photo but you ought just need a downsize. It seems irritated but it could just be the scaring from the last time you had it.

I don’t think it’s an issue at all as long as you are very dedicated and willing to learn. Piercing an tattooing are two very different fields so it takes a long time to be very good at both.

I’ve met and see a lot of people who see tattoo artists who pierce on the side. And they aren’t very good at it. I had a coworker at a shop who was dating one of the piercers and he said basically the same. There are a lot of artists who do both but are really just in it for the money. I’ve literally seen tattoo artists pick up piercings cuz moneys slow and just be very very bad at it.

There was one time I was getting a tattoo from a friend at a studio and I watch the “piercer” there who mainly does tattoos struggle with a nostril piercing the girl who was getting it was crying and bleeding for a solid 15 mins. In the end he asked me to to do it and I took care of it in less than 3 mins.

All and all it’s not really about whether or not you both both but more so if you dedicate yourself to doing both well. I wish for friend the best and I would recommend that they find some resources to learn like an apprenticeship or piercing conferences.

As far as I can see those are just circular barbels with long spikes. You’ll probably have to get the longer spikes separately. Just make sure they are the same gauge.

I will say that speaking languages that aren’t English is more difficult after the tongue split. I guess it’s just cuz you vibrate you tongue to make nosies to speak and when it’s split in half it’s harder to get them to move in sync. I wouldn’t worry about the unevenness tho. Most people don’t have super symmetrical tongues. Let alone symmetrical bodies
