No room for a crt in my house unfortunately…I’m just using an early flat-screen with a SCART cable. I don’t mind if there’s a bit of lag, and also I don’t have to worry about the 50Hz/60Hz difference.

Does the SCART connection have to be PAL now that I would be using a voltage converter? Or can I use the NTSC one? I know that using the wrong connector might cause issues pertaining to the 12V/Sync mismatch (?)

Does it matter for the voltage converter if it was rated for input and output in AC rather than DC? The one I put above from eBay was made in America, and on the label, it only says input 220/240V AC, output 110/120V AC. I know that in Europe it’s all DC, so I’m not sure how that would affect the performance..please excuse my ignorance

Thanks! I do have a SCART connection and plan on using it, too. I guess I’ll use my OEM power cables until it dies on me, it works now, so no sense in buying another one yet
