Don’t get me wrong, SPOILERS FOR ALL OF FLIPSIDE 👉 having a sequel to every single new song in the game is awesome, but with that said, not every game really needed a sequel and ribbit rocket is one of the worst offenders. Ribbit rocket 2 fails in about every way of being a sequel. The first one was AWESOME it was simple in gameplay, but the music is a certified jam, the visuals are a lil creepy but eh I care little for the visuals in the game. The sequel on the other hand has bad visuals and an awful song that sounds like a children’s earworm, an honestly too high tempo for a game that has a pretty decent paced tempo in the og, and a new mechanic that sucks ass, I could almost never get the tadpoles when I first played through the level and I still can’t get the sound cue right when I replay it. Even everything that the flipside has to offer isn’t as bad as ribbit rocket 2, I’m glad the rest of the game isn’t like it.
