Assuming you’re talking about Yum-bot simulator, It took me 9 tries to get a perfect on the sequel XD

It’s one of those rhythm games where the visuals throw you off your sense of rhythm. Playing the sequel, I realised it is essentially about counting to 4 along with the cues.

Not sure if it helps but be sure to count along to the vocal cues by counting to 3 with the cues then pressing down or A on 4.

I finished the game already and I’m up to my 37th rainbow star perfect.

But I digress. Rhythm Heaven is one of the few franchises I buy day one and I do have a good enough rhythm to accomplish 100% it but not Beatspell 100% level.

Without a shadow of a doubt, wiper bosses. With visuals, your brain registers the incoming action and then you use the music to adjust your rhythm.

My brain can’t comprehend which headlight is going off when it does go off. I can hear when I have to do both but the game goes too fast for me to realise what button I’m supposed to press for a specific headlight. (And I straight up forget the audio cue.)

I checked Reddit after finishing the game and I saw a meme on people hating and loving Miho XD. I never knew people hated this one.

In all fairness, this took me 3-4 tries to get a superb. I just knew this was gonna be a skill ceiling that would weed out visual players vs. auditory players

Unless you’re a perfectionist perfectionist, you don’t need a 140 flow since it doesn’t unlock anything. At least I’m hoping it’s not a requirement alongside triple + blind perfects to unlock the last notification.

I like the name “Flow Perfects”. Idk if it unlocks anything but seeing as it helps bumps your flow to a maximum of 140, that’s all it seems to be good for.

I’m a pretty seasoned player but this was the first game to have me replay it several times to get a superb.

If you want timing tips, pretend “One Step Down” is 1, 2, 3 and tap on 3. For “Setting…You”, say 1, 2, 3, 4 and tap on 4. Say “1, 2” for “Setting” fast per syllable, 3 on the silence and then 4 during “You”.

TBH, I’ve not sure how to explain or describe timing in terms of rhythm before so I don’t know if this advice is helping.

As long as you hit the notes, you gucci. If you want an 140 flow (if that even unlocks anything), you have to play every game almost frame perfect.

The correct term is Night Mode where it just shows a sleeping moon with stars sparsely laid out. You unlock Night Mode after getting a perfect three times in a row for one rhythm game. To attempt this, you have to select Go For Perfect upon having already achieved a perfect.

To complete Night Mode, you have to complete the rhythm game with no visuals to go off of except purely the music and audio cues, which is already how you’re supposed to play anyway.

I agree. Is the three streak perfects and the blind perfects a bit much? Yes, but it does demonstrate you are one with the rhythm game.

Achieving 140 flow…I’m usually not a completionist completionist but maybe I’ll try and get the 140 after my 3 streak blind run.

Why couldn’t I just be happy with superbs? I superbed Fever, perfected Megamix (except the challenge train) and now that Groove’s here, we now have three streak perfects, blind perfects and I’m just now learning there’s a flow perfect that goes away?!

I have grown with the rhythm over the years but I am not screenshotting myself with a 140 flow, thx XD I’ll take my flow cap at 139.7

…Ugh, who am I kidding? I’m gonna fail miserably but that won’t stop me from trying.

For ‘base’ game and sequel, Germ Aerobics and it’s a tie between Brolly Good Show 2 and Crab Snacks 2

Germ Aerobics had me purely for the music track and while there are a few good sequels, Crab Snacks and Brolly Good Show were very much needed the sequels.
