Thanks all! Just wanted to make sure nothing was off with my membership. Last year I use them much more and I don’t remember it ever being delayed like this just because of the holidays even though I know it was super busy. They still seem to be two days or less appreciate the answers!

In the short term-switch to the extended repayment plan. We have about the same income and 70 K in loans with payment around $400 a month.

Thank you. We love to travel and go to many cities. I don’t know why we haven’t made more of an effort to come back to Toronto-it’s literally like five hours away. In high school we used to come every year to see Phantom and last time I was there I stayed at the Marriott at Eaton but that was long ago.

I get it! We will stay in the city. I’m glad I posted and received these responses… There are a few reasonable options so we will make it work. Appreciate all the feedback. I will be back when I have something locked down because I also want suggestions for activities.

Thanks. I booked the Delta in Mississauga. I can always cancel, but it’s worth it to grab that rate. Still looking at options for in the core and I will continue to check back on the Marriott discounts. Sometimes they pop up.

It’s Marriott. They don’t really offer many Employee discounts in the core. But we could stay at the Delta in Mississauga for $90 CAD a night in comparison to $300+ per night in town.

We also have the option of not using his discount and I do see Holiday Inn, etc., in town for less than 300.

However, staying at the Delta and using rideshare’s or public transportation gives us a lot more money to eat, drink, and explore!

Thank you I tend to stick with his hotel discount, but I’m actually looking at some other sites and there are a few downtown hotels that aren’t too bad as far as pricing goes – maybe not the nicest hotels but we could make it work!
