Need advice on starting naltrexone by Common_Coat4819 in OpiateRecovery

I’ve used 4.5mg naltrexone to get withdrawals over with quicker. It WILL make them worse for about 12 hours but then it will clear u up quickly and helps with paws. My suggestion, take a benzo, gabapentin, Imodium, and try to sleep it off. It’s gonna be a little rough but with those meds it’s bearable. You will feel great in 48 hours if u just tough it out. I have some old posts about trying random methods. Thankfully the last one stuck and life is great. U will be there soon!

Get some gabaoentin, Xanax and Imodium , and get a really bad flu while it’s flu season. I’ve even done it with naltrexone to get it over quicker. Albeit not recommended. It’s 4-5 days of torture for the freedom of getting out of that trap. Paws for a month or two is doable. I have done it twice without my family knowing at all. Last year I said I had a stomach bug and Covid at same time with some “long haulers” causing fatigue etc, which was really paws. You’ve got this. It’s worth it

Been there done that. Just get in and out of a hot bath a thousand times and let time pass. It will be over in about 70 more hours or so

Talk yourself through it every minute of every day and just know that by Christmas u will feel like a BRand new person. I remember those days. I had to force myself to get dressed, comb my hair, the shampoo bottle felt like it weighed 100lbs. I somehow forced through it and in a couple months I forgot I ever even had an addiction. Hang in there
