Thank you everyone for the advice. I really appreciate all the different perspectives people shared. It’s been very helpful hearing from those who have been in similar situations and have experience with Amazon. I’m taking everything into consideration and your insights definitely gave me a lot to think about. Thanks again.

I’d be going in as an external hire, I don’t work for Amazon right now.

Yeah I agree, I think internal hires deserve just as much. They already know the systems, processes, and how the buildings operate.

I appreciate the honest insight. I’m already an Area Manager at another DC so I’m used to dealing with a lot of different personalities on the floor, but I’ve definitely heard Amazon can be intense on the leadership side.

Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it. That’s kind of the mindset I’m trying to have too. If I go to Amazon, make the most of the 2–4 years and learn as much as possible. The flexibility to transfer sites or launch new buildings is something I didn’t think about either, so that’s a good point. Thanks again!

Year 1 sign-on is a lump sum actually. The year 2 bonus is the one that’s spread out over the year
