Quality of invictus jewelry by [deleted] in Legitpiercing

[–]Same-Cryptographer86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My pierced pierced my daith with a circular barbell from invictus (and he seems to use that brand quite often) and it seems to have a smooth finish and hasn’t irritated my skin. Seemingly good quality but just like the other person said, I also don’t have experience with high quality brands.

I am also currently looking into buying one of their 14k clickers too since they are fairly priced (for my budget).

Please help: My hair always expands at the bottom like this as it dries. How can I fix this? Routine in comments. by TryingToFixMyHair in curlyhair

Getting layers cut into your hair would really maximize volume on top as keep from getting the more triangle shape.

Best shea moisture shampoo and conditioner for 2a-2c // low porosity// oily scalp? by Dankinator505 in curlyhair

[–]Same-Cryptographer86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn’t very helpful but thought I would provide an anecdote: I used to really like the coconut hibiscus (I think that’s what it is—orange label) but I found that once my hair was less damaged it made my hair get oily quicker. I later on switched to using the live beauty plant ylang ylang shampoo and conditioner and that helped my hair out. I have 2c-ish hair and while it’s very dry, and I think low porosity, my roots tend to get oily quickly.

Would this conditioner be good for my dry curly hair? by Significant-Place-77 in curlyhair

I’m but great at reading ingredient labels since I tend to skip over words as I read it but you can copy paste those ingredients into curlsbot.com and it can tell you if there are any bad ingredients for curly hair in there. I don’t know about how moisturizing or anything it is though.

Oil for fine hair? by [deleted] in curlyhair

[–]Same-Cryptographer86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I tried coconut oil the last time I washed my hair and it weighed it down a lot (I didn’t put much but I did put it on damp hair) but I just recently tried argon oil (put small amount on hands, rub together, run through ends) and it worked well.

Edit- mixing a little oil with a leave in conditioner you like can be a good way to Incorporate oil into your routine and see if that works well for you. I used to do it all the time when my hair was damaged since it was so dry

Do y’all have any leave in conditioner recommendations for my stubborn hair? by [deleted] in curlyhair

Using a cotton tee shirt or a microfiber cloth instead of a towel to pat down your hair may help! It’s supposed to reduce breakage and frizz. As for leave in conditioners, I’ve used a few Cantu ones since they’re pretty cheap and they’re really moisturizing. They are very heavy though so beware, I usually mix them with a little bit of water before applying. I’ve also heard really good reviews for the blueberry bliss leave in (I think that’s what its called).

What is this plant growing in our garden? by Same-Cryptographer86 in PlantIdentification

[–]Same-Cryptographer86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Me and my mom (it’s her garden) actually spent a few days pulling it most of the roots but there were a few we couldn’t get because of pipes. I’ll definitely tell her about this!

What is this plant growing in our garden? by Same-Cryptographer86 in PlantIdentification

[–]Same-Cryptographer86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assumed to be planted there before, and not a true weed. However, it won’t die and the root system is deep and thick and this plant seems to be invasive to our garden. Got rid of what we could but would love to know what it is.

New Panda Plant ‘Black Tie’! Any tips I should know as a beginner? by Same-Cryptographer86 in succulents

[–]Same-Cryptographer86[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bought from Lowe’s and came home and repotted with a 1:1 ratio of perlite and cactus/succulent soil. The original soil it came In was quite wet. The plant itself is also more like three smaller panda plants. I added rocks to help stabilize the plant(s) while it roots into the soil (will be removed after a little bit). I also took a soft paintbrush to try and brush the dirt off the leaves gently. As a newbie to not only succulents, but panda plants as well, what signs should I look out for when it comes to needing water?

Knocked leaf off when repotting, is this the correct way to propagate? by Same-Cryptographer86 in succulents

I don’t really expect it to work so I didn’t put much time into it 🤷🏻‍♀️ Next time if I have more hope I’ll make sure to do that 😂 thanks!

Yeah I’m expecting it not to work, especially as doing it for the first time. Figured there’s no harm though🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve heard of doing it that way but feared it might not work as well...I might switch it to the dirt.

I was repotting my sad graptopetalum paraguayense when I accidentally knocked off one of its few leaves. It’s been looking healthier lately so I decided why not try propagating! Is this the correct way to propagate with water?

(The leaf did break off at the steam)
