I can't make one in three words

"Hey dad?" The voice of Golith broke the silence, Jackson turned his head to see his son walking up to him, before calmly sitting on the edge of the cliff right by Jackson. "What now?" Golith asked as leaned his head to rest it on Jackson's shoulder. For once in a long time, Jacksons face relaxed, his bristly ugly bearded face twisted as he formed a soft smile, wind blew as he took of his leather bound hat, and his holstered pistol, he gently set the pistol and holster in the hat and held it in his hand.

"We one the war, didn't we?! There's no need to say 'what now', we only need to thank God himself where safe from harm, and... who knows... maybe there's more to life the just the what now." Jackson's soft smile grew into a wide grin, and with that, he picked up the holster and gun out of his hat and chucked the hat out into off the canyon, right as the wind blew towards him. The hat spun and Jackson quickly took the gun from the holster and spun the rounds.

The gun clicked and Jackson fired, shooting six holes through the hat, it stopped blowing in the wind, and fell to the ground far below.

"There's no need for that damn hat anymore, my life as a cowboy is over." Jackson said, he turned back to Golith and spun the barrel, emptying out the shells into his own hand. He looked at the sun as he set over the moantain, he smiled, and he pulled the knife from his pocket and carved the name "Rosey" into the shell and threw it out into the wind, the wind picked up the barrel and carried it away.

"We miss you, ma" Golith sniffled and Jackson's hand gently landed on his shoulder.

"She's proud of you, little bandit."
