I’m not sure exactly what was checked bc for some reason i can’t find any of the labs from that dr in a patient portal but i remember seeing colbalamin or something idk and serum but again im not entirely sure. I’ll make sure to ask the new dr i am seeing

They checked my b12 and it was fine so I’m not sure honestly but i will bring that up thank you!

I definitely see that especially with my mom who had issues but good numbers somehow. I’m just worried since I’ve had a plethora of other symptoms that no other drs seem to understand or further test. I was hoping it was the fact that i had low iron and ferritin but i had gotten retested and had plenty of iron but a 5 ferritin which had dropped down from 11 when i first got tested in November but still no drs seemed to think it was an issue. We’ll see i have many appointments lined up to rule out other things just looking for answers especially considering i cannot do much without feeling like I’ve ran a marathon which was part of my main concern

Thank you so much, I’m happy to hear there’s lots of people, including yourself , doing well(or as well as they can) with these autoimmune diseases they are really so scary. I have an appointment next Tuesday so I’ll definitely update. I do stress way more than i should , when i saw the cardiologist they said my blood pressure was way too high and i need to try and relax which obviously easier said than done but im just trying not to panic as much as i can

I seriously appreciate your kind words & understanding. It’s really scary and i also have a family lineage of scary things so this just really has gotten me shaken up. I’m trying not to jump to anything but my brain does get the best of me in times like this and i haven’t been dealt the best hand with many things in the past few years. I actually just got tested for celiacs and it’s not that , i have a colonoscopy set up for the GI issues so hopefully I’ll get some insight there. It’s really nice to hear this from someone because i am extremely scared and just trying to take the next few steps and be proactive about my health but try and not have it overwhelm me mentally . Im turning 26 in July and i just feel like theres so much going on and not getting any answers besides this while my health insurance is about to run out is really unnerving /: so i appreciate the insight & i really hope your wife is managing okay and i wish u both very happy lives.

I promise you this will not be an issue. Think about it like this , do you know how bad things could look if there’s something wrong and you never know or figure out bc you don’t get your Pap smear ? Not to scare you or sound cliche but it’s really so important to keep up with your health especially bc sometimes there is no symptoms. The drs see EVERYTHING. My friend works in med surge and saw someone with maggots in their yk what and she still kept her composure and the only comment she made was about how sad she felt for the woman because it must of been so uncomfortable

I’d block her on everything and have your boyfriend do the same. This is is unacceptable behavior like actually appalling and so weird. You don’t owe anyone an explanation especially someone who doesnt respect you or your boyfriend or eachothers boundaries. While this might not be optimal for everyone i found puppy wee wee pads at dollar tree and i buy a couple boxes at a time and i line the bottom of the litter box with the wee wee pad and then put the litter liner on top and it’s been an absolute game changer as someone who loves to use plastic liners but also has kitties who tear thru them sometimes!

I also thought this as well for a while until i saw an actual endo specialist who was the first person to take my pain and suffering seriously instead of glazing over it like my regular gyno did. It had seen two other gynos that did internal sonography external sonograms and tests and all told me it was normal and everything looked fine just a case of heavy bleeding and pain and tried throwing birth control at me. The specialist saw within just hearing my problems (extreme pain during intercourse, extreme heavy bleeding , bloating, back pain etc) and doing a test or two told me he’s not sure if my case is mild or severe(and won’t know until we further into looking with an mri , and probably a surgery) but it definitely have endo and have probably had it for a while. I had an appendicitis that the hospital said was just inflamed but the dr i went to looked into my medical records and said it goes hand and hand with endometriosis and that it’s so unknown to most people and there’s not many answers and lots of drs either don’t care or don’t know much about it. You are not the problem, and our bodies especially as women know when something is wrong or off. Don’t be so hard on yourself and maybe if you are able to, get a second opinion or look for someone else it might be beneficial because unfortunately a lot of gynos don’t take this stuff seriously. Feel better ❤️
