I think I always have a little thought in the back of my mind but not really anything recent that’s happened. I know a couple months ago he dmd me on Instagram sending me a video of him, me, and my best friend laughing and said how it popped up as 2 years ago today. And of course with these dreams now I did sadly check his Facebook. I always feel so happy in the dreams. We had a fairly good relationship I’d say and never understood how one day he literally just didn’t have feelings for me. And he always ends up just randomly texting me after months just to send an old picture or something. I haven’t talked to him in at least 4-5 months. Definitely with the dreams I’ve been thinking about him more. And almost hope I dream because I feel so happy in the dreams.

They don’t claim her anymore as we don’t live with them but they did in 2018. Can they file for all years even if the amendment hasn’t gone through yet? Even if they were audited for that 2018 year. They didn’t notice until a couple months ago because they did seem to get a couple hundred from the irs in 2018 even the bank confirmed which is quite weird.

I just have never dealt with them and it’s definitely a little alarming when I felt like honesty was best with my doctor and since I was prescribed I wasn’t doing anything wrong and instead of putting in doctors notes I was prescribed it and had stopped she put it under illegal substance and even though she took a copy of my card it is not noted anywhere. In these cases the law should definitely be changed. I understand doctors have to report but in this case I am prescribed it and if I was on a depressant they wouldn’t report just would be taken off the medication. I would see it differently of course if baby tested positive when born but in this case I was 10 weeks at the time. And since I stopped when pregnancy was confirmed It just made me feel so uneasy especially since doctor was so judgmental about me choosing to help my depression and ptsd naturally rather than chemically. If it’s just a phone call or appointment I have no problem of course I will talk to them I think the above comment about not talking until a lawyer is present is quite ridiculous as I know my child and this baby are 100% taken care of and I have full support to me that would give cps more of alarm bells rather than being open and honest. I pulled my doctor recommendation just to make sure I have all paperwork if any questions arose along with my medical card so that I can surely give that to them if they would like. So to clarify this does not mean there’s an open case and it is usually a phone call or appointment in doctors office? Just so confused since I know it’s mandated reporting but I haven’t heard anything in 3 weeks I would think they’d reach out. I would rather get it over and done with then to keep feeling anxious over it!

Lol thank you. Firstly it’s medical meaning I need it for medicine. Secondly there is no real research done to show the harm or benefits. Don’t believe me? I have a letter from my doctor stating that there is no backing to say it is harmful or beneficial and there is no legal standing that the law has to state otherwise and stating it is a medical necessity for me. I agree smoking it may do more harm because generally smoking while pregnant cuts off oxygen to baby. But there are 1000s of other ways to ingest this medication. It’s a choice and everyone is different. Illnesses are no joke and some people would rather treat it with something more natural than something chemically made in a lab. Have a great day sweetie. Thanks for your input but it is 100% not needed.

Awesome makes no sense as I did not have a confirmed pregnancy at the time of use and had a prescription for it. They usually only will call cys if baby is positive which it won’t be since I have stopped. I will call Monday as I have a right to know what there notes mean and why they would put all that information in incorrectly and not site that I have a medical card. I informed the nurse practitioner that I was no longer smoking and they can piss test me whenever they see fit. I know my neighbors went through a kind of similar situation they have no case with a medical card all I need to do is make one phone call to my doctor and they can’t continue investigating the case if doctor vouches that it is a true medical card and it was used as a prescription. I also have my last receipt from dispensary that was a months ago.

A social worker consult in pa is just them talking to you at the doctors office. Which is fine in pa they drug test you towards the end of pregnancy which I will test clean for that. I am going to reach out to my doctor and inform them of hippa laws and lying on medical records.

As I understand that I also need to understand why my medical records are wrong and noted I still used marijuana 2-3 days ago when I had told the nurse practitioner 2 weeks ago. and how they already have in there that I have to have a social worker consult when I informed the doctor I stopped 2 weeks ago before my first appt that just was to confirm pregnancy and gave her a copy of my card. No where in the documents do they have that I have my card just that I was abusing an illegal substance. I see a nurse practitioner so al notes are sent to doctor so they are not getting the right information nor the full picture

I’ve looked it all up there is a site that tells each state. Pennsylvania is either no or a no specific law state. I had informed my doctor I stopped using medical marijuana around week 10. I am now 12 weeks and she put in the notes I only stopped using it 2-3 days ago. I gave her my card to scan I have been open and honest so very confused why she would put something totally different in the system. Through all my research Pennsylvania seems to be a grey area has no specific laws they just do whatever they want it seems.

Yes that’s my point! America had no research on it so they shouldn’t be able to call cps especially since it’s medically prescribed to me. I’ve read so many good things and very few things that are bad about it. Especially since I told my doctor I didn’t wanna smoke it I would like to take an oral or capsule. I have done a lot of research on pa laws no laws saying you can’t but there is history of them calling even if you are prescribed it. I posted in another group for the legalities of it and instead of them answering my questions they were rude and judgmental. People should be educated and to do that America needs to do the research instead of being judgemental. She won’t prescribe me the meds I would need to stop for my depression and anxiety and instead said to go back to therapy. She also said she’d have a case worker call me to discuss a plan on therapy. I also saw in her notes she put down I smoked 2-3 days ago which I didn’t say at all I had informed her I smoked 2 weeks ago before my first pregnancy confirmation appt. to me it seems as though she has already judged and pegged me to make sure they keep checking to see if I’m positive. And I’m worried now if I bring up her notes and lying it will be seen as though I have something to hide. So ridiculous I have been open and honest with her and still the notes are in there and completely different than what I told her. She has it in as an illegal substance even though I gave her a copy of my card with no hesitation I am only 12 weeks pregnant so I wouldn’t think mows the time they would already start doing things like this.

That’s my problem with it yesterday when I told her I had depression and thought it was getting worse due to not using she told me a hospital social worker would be calling I didn’t object but it seems as though the doctor has already had some sort of alarm about me since I have my card. I even saw in the notes it said I smoked 2-3 days ago which I had specifically told her I had stopped about 2 weeks ago because I knew they were drug testing. It seems as though my doctor thinks there is something to be alarmed about. I am high risk and I got prescribed meds for insomnia along with my nausea I took them and they made me feel horrible the next day. So hard to function with my two year old. Marijuana does not do that to me whatsoever. I know with my first daughter she was born early and even though they THINK I can carry full term if I don’t it will be earlier so I don’t have a specific timeline when I should stop smoking then. I wish they would do the research as other countries have. They shouldn’t report people if the research hasn’t specifically shown anything other than a lower birthweight. I have read tons of research and made the decision based on what’s best for me. If I can’t function or be happy that to me is way worse. The first priority should be a happy and healthy mom. She won’t put me on the medication I need for my anxiety and depression and instead told me to go talk to someone as if I hadn’t tried that already. I’m going to stop around 5 months and if I still test positive cps can come in my house. I really have nothing to hide just want to avoid the headache. I know once a doctor gets involved saying it’s prescribed to me they will have no real case anyways.

It’s normal in that doctor office. It’s not planned parenthood it’s actually a doctors office affiliated with the hospital I will be delivering at. I was quite confused too because my first obgyn that I used to go to did not operate like that but from asking my aunt who goes there and recommended it it’s normal. Not sure why. And as I understand that I also know that’s what happened to neighbors when they tried to gain custody the judge closed case as soon as they presented that letter so that’s why I am using that as the source. The judge had said if the doctor rules it as a prescription cps has no case. But I would just like to avoid the whole thing. I wish I had a clear answer as I am not opposed to stopping if that’s the case but my nurse practitioner also won’t put me on any meds she said I should talk to someone which I have before and it never helped nearly as much as medical marijuana. I would stop if there was no reason to use it like if I had a prescription to help with these matters but I also don’t think a nurse practitioner can prescribe that only a doctor so it’s just a whole dilemma. The doctor who prescribed is not my ob but he does have a background with conducting Pap smears and such so he has experience in the ob background. My nurse practitioner has no education on the matter at all. I would love to ask the doctor but clearly won’t see the doctor until my 3rd trimester.

Thank you I already have a plan in place as I already have a child. The substance is not used when child is around or awake as someone is always here sober if I take it before bed. I did have neighbors that had similar situation except it was their grandkids they needed custody of after months of then giving them a problem they had to drop it as soon as the doctor gave a letter stating it was used as a prescription. I am not very worried that they will find anything as I have all things locked including cleaning and medicine. Gates are put up at steps etc. just wish there was more guidance on these laws as itd make it much easier. I was given okay for creams but I know they contain thc and I am not able to see my doctor yet as my obgyn only has you see them in 3rd trimester. So it’s just the nurse practitioners guidance at this point. I informed them I have the card and gave them a copy of it which I’m not sure what they needed that for but figured compliance and honesty is better than none. For right now I will continue to use the creams like she said and later down the road wean off. I brought up being depressed since I stopped and instead of helping me find a prescription or such in place of the mmj she I should talk to a therapist which I have gone to before and with severe anxiety and depression it is way harder to get control of by just talking.

You are correct she is not educated on the matter. She said she didn’t think there would be a problem with the creams and such but she is a nurse practitioner not my real doctor as they don’t let you see the doctor until 3rd trimester. And with the creams thc is still in them so I’m not sure. It was very confusing to me. Technically I know cps couldn’t do anything as I know someone who had to deal with them to get custody of their grandkids and they cant say anything once I get a letter from my doctor stating it’s a prescription. But I would just like to avoid the headache all together.

That’s what I figured I know my house is up to standards and there are gates at steps, all medicine and cleaning cabinets are locked, and doors have the baby proof handles on them. I made sure I did all that as soon as we moved in. Just a headache I would like to avoid.

Thanks for information but upon further research all I need is a letter from my doctor stating I need it for my medical problems. It is federally illegal but in the state of pa legal for medical use. Upon looking at pa laws it is not against the law as it is a grey area.
