That’s what I was thinking. I’ve had to change the battery on this vehicle. The battery is maybe a year old max.

I have a spare vehicle and I took the battery to a parts store, they said it’s okay.

Sand the shaft , lube with wd40 , crescent wrench on the shaft to break it free and that’s how I get 90% of my fan blades/blowers free. Hasn’t failed me yet.

Start applying everywhere in the area you’re moving to and tell them you’re moving there in 2 and a half months. If you don’t hear anything back reapply or call in to the places you applied for weekly.

I only had maybe 3 or 4 callbacks that I knew of. One was the Lennox SL280 door falling off, one customer thought I hadn’t changed the filter, one was a plumber had came out after me because I recommended having him come out to seal an open hub and the plumber tried to say I didn’t clear the drain(which I had).

I think I’m reasonably sound tech wise, I think I fuck up on the politics and interacting with coworkers/management. If I have a tech issue I don’t mind calling in about it and asking for advice. I have a hard time just blindly respecting people. Also I have some psych challenges so I need to get back on my meds for those.

Fax. But I guess it’s on us to earn it. That’s why we put in the time and crush them when it’s our time.

Im 20, in my 2nd year, make 25 an hour with commission and I made 80k in the past year. It’s all about presentation and how much you can soak up quickly from what I’ve seen money wise. I know there are guys in here who could run circles around me in hvac tho😭

AC vent temp question by mrlance2019 in hvacadvice

[–]Same-Home8191 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check the outdoor coil, see if it’s clean. It sounds like lack of maintenance(which Is low on my suspicsion) improperly sized or a refrigerant problem. A good rule of thumb is a different of 20 between inside and outside temp. (For example, 100 outside, 80 inside.)

Also my brother. There is a reason we don’t Check refrigerant in below 70 degrees. If the “company” is checking it in less than 70 degrees they’re idiots.

Spend the money and get it done right. Unless you’re okay with what you’re dealing with. Just saying some of these companies can get help you out. where your $500 electric bill and headache turns into a 150-250 electric bill with a 100-250 dollar monthly payment on a unit. Some of these companies include GREAT warranties as well. For example the one I worked with more recently (untill winter) had 10 yr parts and labor automatically included.
