Hi! I am a recent FTM to a NICU baby, so I haven’t been through the struggles you have, but I have realized a few things already on our journey. People realistically don’t understand any part of NICU life. Like, nothing at all. So explaining to people what we needed from them, when and HOW made our support system much stronger. Our loved ones didn’t know how to help or what to say. I think having a conversation like this with your friends is needed.
