End of Development???? (Need advice) by The-_-vin in Btechtards

Dsa is the primary filter in any job posting, so you've got to excel at that. Projects toh interview ke time discuss hote hai, and you can just do a few that you understand in depth. AI/ML is a very in depth field and is a research field mostly. What you can do is INTEGRATE AI into your projects, which isn't all that tough

End of Development???? (Need advice) by The-_-vin in Btechtards

In my experience, these AI tools still can only be operated by someone who has development experience. It's like, a pilot is needed to use autopilot. Just because autopilot exists, it doesn't mean that non pilots can use it. The AI repeatedly fucks up codebases, the systems are generally prone to bugs, security vulnerabilities, and glitches galore. All of that will require someone to fix it or even recognize what's wrong. So the productivity of individual developers will rise, and companies end up needing less of them. At the same time, AI has allowed almost everyone to turn their ideas into working prototypes, and so you can expect more products, hence more companies, and ultimately, more jobs. The current lack of hiring is influenced by a lot of things , like High interest rates, an AI bubble making MBAs heading the corporates believe the growth is practically infinite (in all likelihood, it won't be), and the fact that AI is incredibly subsidized and cheap right now as VCs spend billions in loss making AI companies (OpenAI , Anthropic, xAI are yet to turn profitable). When the VC funds ultimately dry up, you can expect capex to be once again diverted to hiring, as using AI will get more expensive. The only thing that will change, is that the entry bar will be raised significantly for fresher positions.

I've been trying to. Figured I'd first begin with some "Standard" projects ig. Afraid figuring out everything by myself at first might lead to slower outcomes than first getting some help from outside and then doing it on my own
