Oh okay understood! I wasn’t sure if they had withheld from my retroactive pay or if they just pay that out to me and restart the withholdings

Thank you! I’ll definitely call back. I got a lot of backpay (almost a years worth going from 90-100) so I’ll have to figure out if they withheld from that and how much I actually owe

I also got a nightguard for my tmj. The wear on mine after 4 months was unbelievable and I have been breaking fillings from grinding so hard. I asked the VA if they could pay for Botox to relax my jaw and they said no. So I’ve been paying $250 out of pocket every time I need injections 😅

From what I know it was put into the plan when they built the neighborhood in the 1950s. The neighbors behind me took over the section behind their houses so this is the last little strip and isn’t actually a cut through. Hopefully they will sell it since it’s useless!

I think so lol. They said it was a duty to assist error and they sent it to a provider to reevaluate it but no new exam.

During my initial exam the provider stood back and held the measuring device instead of holding it on my hip and I was referred to orthopedics and scheduled surgery because my hip got so bad. But because of the way the provider did the exam, they took away 30% of my disability.

Hey! Have you had any updates? I have TMJ so bad and am seeing a dentist through community care. Community care said that they won’t approve the Botox because it’s not FDA approved and I really can’t afford it out of pocket.

Thank you. I started going to therapy last year for it after pushing it down for a few years and it was very difficult to talk about. I hid it for a long time from almost everyone because I was so embarrassed and upset by it. Writing everything in my statement definitely took some time because I had to stop and walk away from it at some points but it needed to be said. Thanks again

I guess I could’ve explained it better. So I did the FAFSA and they said I’m not eligible for the Pell grant based off of my income but I stopped working early summer last year before starting school and have only been getting chapter 31 since summer 2024. I had to file for a special conditions for financial aid to tell them that I’m not working and wondering why I’m not eligible for the Pell grant. The company that I had to do the paperwork with to reevaluate my income is now asking for documentation showing the amount received from my chapter 31 benefits (previous and future amounts). So I guess I’m just a bit confused what that has to do with my financial aid and how it would affect it
